One of the more entertaining quests within High on Life 2 takes place midway through the campaign, and has you assassinate your new target, the billionaire Larry Pinkstock.
Unfortunately for you, Pinkstock is immediately eliminated at the start of the quest, leaving you scrambling and searching for the real killer, unless you want Travis and yourself to be framed.
This is an entirely optional (but fun!) little mini game that can be skipped entirely provided you pick the right choice. It’s also the only way to grab the Columbo in Space trophy, and for that you’ll want to complete the entire scenario.
Finding All Pieces Of Evidence Before Going Forward

After Larry Pinkstock’s unfortunate demise, you’ll want to pick up Travis. Travis mentions the killer had a rosy perfume on them, which should give you enough of a hint as to who the real killer is.
Regardless, you’ll want to complete the quest properly to earn the achievement. For that, you’ll want to look for multiple clues. Once you’re ready, (and have enough evidence) walk up to the table and bring the hammer down to commence the trial.
Accusing Everyone (And Picking The Correct Answer)

There’ll be a total of six suspects, which happens to include both you and Travis. You can technically accuse anyone you wish to (with great comedic effect), but do keep in mind there is only one correct answer.
O.B. Oberon
You’ll have the following dialog options:
- Because Pinkstock shut down her music school
- Because Pinkstock is responsible for her brother’s death
- Because Pinkstock paid her to kill him
- I don’t know
Admiral Gruck Sessions
You’ll have the following dialog options for the admiral:
- Because Pinkstock was trafficking orphans
- Because Pinkstock was blackmailing the military
- Because he has wooden hands
- I don’t know
Richard Twelfth The Eighth
You’ll have the following dialog options for the brat:
- Because Pinkstock was trafficking orphans
- Because Pinkstock gave him allergies
- Because Pinkstock was blackmailing his family
- I don’t know
Edeline Moss
You’ll have the following dialog options for the old lady:
- Because Pinkstock was trafficking orphans
- Because Pinkstock took her fortune in the divorce
- Because her bones are too weak
- I don’t know
Me, The Outlaw
You’ll have the following dialog options when placing yourself as the accused:
- I’m taking down everyone connected to Rhea Pharmaceuticals
- Because I don’t like rich people
- Because I thought it would be funny
- I don’t know
Travis
You’ll have the following dialog options when framing Travis:
- Because his marriage is on the rocks
- Because he was jealous
- Why do I need a motive? You all agree
- I don’t know
So, Who Is The Real Killer?

At certain points, you will be asked to present proof of the accused committing the crime. With the exception of Oberon, all other choices are a dud, and will result in you embarrassing yourself in front of the crowd.
There’s no way to lose the mission though, as no matter what choice you pick, Larry Pinkstock will re-emerge (mentioning that the one who died was in fact, a clone) and reveal the real killer to be Oberon.
His speech will be unfortunately cut short when Kreg Button blasts through the area though, killing him in the process.
How To Unlock the Columbo In Space Trophy

The Columbo in Space trophy/achievement only unlocks if you play through the detective game and deduce the killer’s identity correctly. This involves finding a bunch of clues scattered around Pinkstock’s corpse, and questioning each member in the room for potential clues.
Once you’re done with the interrogation, commence the hearing and choose O.B. Oberon as the accused. She’ll naturally try to deny these claims, pushing for a motive.
Choose the second dialog here, the one that talks about her brother’s death.
In a rather shocking turn of events, it turns out that Oberon and her brother were experimented on by Rhea Pharmaceuticals, a procedure that left her brother dead. That still won’t be enough to wrap it up, since you’ll want to present some more evidence.
The first bit of evidence is in her rosy perfume, a lingering smell that was found near Pinkstock’s corpse. Next, you’ll want to bring forward evidence of her being a crack shot, as indicated by the Sharpshooting Competition Trophy present to the right of the Admiral (which you picked up earlier).
Finally, bring an end to the whole debacle by declaring that no one else but Oberon could have fired the shot. The reasoning is simple, the Admiral and Edeline Moss are too weak to wield firearms (with the Admiral having wooden hands), while Richard has a severe Gatlan allergy that would have made it impossible for him to use Travis as a weapon.
Cornered, Oberon will finally confess to the crime, and this lengthy process should be over, unlocking the Columbo In Space trophy.
Skipping The Puzzle Entirely
If you’re not looking to indulge yourself in a bit of detective work, you can always pick the Who Cares? option to entirely skip the segment. Don’t worry though, as Larry will make an appearance regardless, before being mauled to death by the Bounty Hunters.
