High On Life 2 – How To Enter HumanCon & Defeat Muppy Doo

High on Life 2 has you going through a gauntlet of fan conventions (in the aptly named ConCon) in your quest to find and assassinate Senator Muppy Doo. The actual boss battle begins once you’re in HumanCon, and is a whole process in of itself.

All of this culminates in a hilarious boss fight against Muppy Doo, which is a bit tricky to complete. If you’re looking for a way to clear the stages and defeat the boss, you’ve come to the right place.

    Navigating Through PoolCon And RailCon

Once you’re out of MurderCon, head straight to the pair of billboards for PoolCon right in front of you. You’ll have to jump and glide across using the skateboard.

What lies ahead is a really cool parkour section that has you navigate through RailCon. You’ll be jumping between narrow paths and wall running while you simultaneously avoid traps along the way.

Ultimately, you’ll end up at a platform overlooking HumanCon, which is where the Senator is currently hiding. You’ll also find a puzzle here, once you’ve dealt with all the spawned enemies.

Using Lugblobs To Bridge The Connections

Look around till you find an unused generator. This will serve as a starting point, but to proceed you will require a Lugblob.

Walk around till you find an infested crate nearby, and pick up the Lugblob.

You’ll have to place the creature at the center of the platform. Create a connection between the generator and Lugblob using Sheath’s Q ability. Once the poor Lugblob has been electrocuted, bridge the connection to the truck nearby, which should be holding another panel.

    Grab The HumanCon Board

There’s a secret skateboard in the area, and you’ll have to go for a detour to grab it.

Simply jump off to the rail slide circling the platform, and hold E to jump across when you see the set of perpendicular rails nearby.

Navigate through and to the end of the tram, till you see a green chest. Stab it with Knifey (do it quickly, or you’ll just fall off the tram) and claim the prize. Head back to the starting point, or perform a reset by jumping off the rails.

    Entering HumanCon

You’ll now have to navigate a platforming section to be able to (finally) enter HumanCon. Firstly, bridge a connection between the food truck generator (from its right side) to the junction leading to the cartoony human shaped balloons.

You’ll have to navigate through this obstacle course, which isn’t easy since you’ll have to time your jumps just right.

Hop onto the makeshift rail, and jump off at the last moment to land on a balloon. You’ll have zero time to react here since you will be jumping from one balloon to the next, and every misstep will end in a restart.

For the fastest way across, jump from one head to the other, and finally down to the baby human balloon’s backside, from which you should be comically propelled into the HumanCon grounds.

    Another Puzzle

HumanCon is a weird place. Aliens dress up like humans and mimic mannerisms, like you’d see in a cosplay convention.

Ridiculous premise aside, you’ll quickly find out that the place is swamped with attendees, and that the entrance has been blocked to hide Muppy Doo. There will be a final puzzle before you can face off against the Senator.

Head to the infested stand beside the ConCon Patio Garden. There should be a generator on the side, as well as a Lugblob above it. For now, keep track of the location and tether a connection from the generator.

Head over to center of the map to find two rotating puzzle pieces with a conductive tip. Shoot the middle section and have them point toward the stage.

Make your way back to the infested stand to grab the Lugblob. You can use Gus’s suction ability to nab it quickly.

Place it between the generator at the front of the exhibit, and complete the circuit. You can now finally enter the exhibit, where a panicked Muppy Doo will call down his goons to finish you off.

    Muppy Doo Boss Fight

Muppy Doo is a slippery foe, being surprisingly agile for his old age. He can also shrink down to hide away from you, which makes things a bit more complicated. The fight takes place in two phases.

    Phase 1

For best results, use the Time Bubble to slow him down, and shower him with bullets and chip away at his health. This is a long boss fight, so don’t rush.

Early on in the fight, Muppy Doo will panic and release every imaginable thing out of his Fanny Pack, including some very poorly trained bodyguards. These enemies don’t have a whole lot of HP, but can overpower if you’re not careful.

Keep hitting him to wear out his Fanny Pack and be mindful of enemies. Once its depleted, Muppy Doo will try a more creative approach.

    Phase 2

    The Senator invades your suit

Phase 2 is a lot more fun, and involves (literally) breaking through the fourth wall. The Senator will shrink down and enter your suit, taking over critical functions.

To proceed with the purge, switch back to the main menu (hit Esc) and you should now be put through a series of hilarious moments as you attempt to boot the Senator off your suit.

Without spoiling too much, you’ll want to force him out of your suit by any means necessary, even if it means destroying your suit and yourself in the process.

With Muppy Doo defeated, you’ll be whisked away by Gene in the RV as this section of the campaign draws to a close.
