Quest Name: A Glimmer of the Past
Level Requirements: Disciple of War or Magic Level 100
Quest Requirements: Main Scenario Crossroads from the previous patch 7.1
Where to Find: Found in the Backroom (X:6.0 Y:6.4) on talking to Krile NPC. The main scenario will have seven more quests after the completion of “When Death Comes to Dinner.“
Side Quest: The Cornservant
Quest Name: When Death Comes to Dinner
Level Requirements: Disciple of War or Magic Level 100
Quest Requirements: Main Scenario Dawntrail and Side Quest Tasteful Memories from the previous patch 7.0
Where to Find: Found in the Tuliyollal (X:16.4, Y:12.8) on talking to the Cornservant NPC.
Chronicles of a New Era Quest: The Arcadion
Quest Name: Souls Under Siege
Level Requirements: Disciple of War or Magic Level 100
Quest Requirement: You must finish “The Neoteric Witch” Chronicles of New Era Quest.
Where to Find: Heading over to Solution Nine (X:22.2 Y:16.6) and speaking to Yaana. After the completion of “Souls Under Siege“, you will gain access to five more quests in the storyline.
Trial: Recollection
Level Requirements: Disciple of War or Magic Level 100/ Item Level 715+
Quest Requirements: Main Scenario Quest Seekers of Eternity in patch 7.2
Party Limit: 8 Players/ 60 Minutes
Where to find: You can access it via Duty Finder.
Extreme Trial: Recollection (Extreme)
Level Requirements: Disciple of War or Magic Level 100/ Item Level 730+
Quest Requirements: Main Scenario Quest Seekers of Eternity in patch 7.2
Party Limit: 8 Players/ 60 Minutes
Where to find: You can access it via Raid Finder. You must speak to the Wandering Minstrel NPC in Tuliyollal (X:11.1 Y:14.6).
Reward NPC: Any items you obtain from finishing the Trial can be exchanged for gear by talking to Uah’shepya in Solution Nine (X:8.7 Y:13.5). Uah’shepya now sells Wings of Ruin for Skyruin Totem x99 and Wings of Resolve for Resilient Totem x99.
Unreal Trial: Hell’s Kier (Unreal)
Level Requirements: Disciple of War or Magic Level 80/ Item Level 695+
Quest Requirements: Main Scenario Quest Shadowbringers and Side Quest: Keeping Up With the Aliapohs and Fantastic Mr. Faux
Party Limit: 8 Players/ 60 Minutes
Where to find: You can access the trial via Raid Finder. If you have never done the Unreal trial before, then you need to speak to the Painfully Ishgardian Man NPC to get the Quest Fantastic Mr. Faux in Idyllshire (X:7.0 Y:5.9).
Note: the Jade Stoa (Unreal) is locked, no longer accessible after the release of Hell’s Kier. The patch note did mention the release of a new trial in every major patch release.
Raid: AAC Cruiserweight Tier
Level Requirements: Disciple of War or Magic Level 100/ Item Level 715+
Quest Requirements: Unlocks when you are doing the Soul Under Siege side scenario.
Party Size Limits: 8 Players with 90 90-minute time Limit
Where to Find: You can find it via Duty Finder. You must complete the Neoteric Witch Chronicles of a New Era Quest from patch 7.1. The quest can be found in Solution Nine (X:22.2 Y:16.6), on talking to Yaana NPC.
Rewards: Rewards here will be tokens that can be exchanged for gear by talking to Hhihwi in Solution Nine (X:8.7 Y:13.4). If you manage to finish it, you will earn a Cruiser Holosaber but only once a week.
Raid: AAC Cruiserweight Tier (Savage)
Unlock Time: AAC Cruiserweight Tier – Savage will unlock on April 1 at 3:00 A.M. PDT/ 0:00 GMT / 21:00 AEDT.
Where to Find: The raid can only be accessed via the Raid Finder
Party Size Limits: 8 Players
Item Level Requirements: AAC Cruiserweight M1: 730 Item Level (90 Minutes) / M2: 735 Item Level (90 Minutes) / M3: 740 Item Level (90 Minutes)/ M4: 740 Item Level (120 Minutes)
Unlock Requirements: Must complete the Chronicles of a New Era Quest, then talk to Gabbro found in Solution Nine at (X:22.3 Y:17.1)
Rewards: Babyface Champion’s Coffers after completing the Savage AAC raid. You will also receive AAC Illustrated: CW Edition from each area, which can be exchanged by talking to Hhihwi in Solution Nine (X:8.7 Y:13.4).
Expert Dungeon: The Underkeep
Level Requirements: Disciple of War or Magic Level 100/ Item Level 705+
Quest Requirements: Unlocks during the completion of the main story, Seekers of Eternity found in patch 7.2
Party Size Limits: 4 Players with 90-minute time Limit
Where to Find: You can access the dungeon via Duty Finder and Trust NPC with explorer mode enabled.
Other Handful Content Changes from Patch 7.2
Here are the significant highlights from the recent patch.
- New Game + allows you to repair gear and access the weather forecast.
- Submersible’s maximum rank is now 130.
- New furnishings have been added for housing
- No more weekly loot restriction in Jeuno: The First Walk.
- Bonus EXP added for duties, but less EXP from eliminating bosses and completing Alliance raid duties.
- The drop rate for Wings of Ruin and Wings of Resolve has now been raised.
- Heliometry has received a cap of 2,000.
- New emotes, portrait accents, poses, achievements, stickers, frames, facewear, minions, chocobo barding, mounts, fishing holes, new cards, and many more features added with the recent patch 7.2.
