Each season of Delta Force offers the opportunity to unlock and play a new operator. In Season 6, you get to unlock a new Recon operator called Raptor. Raptor is an enigma, and there isn’t a lot known about his playstyle. But once you learn how to use him on the field, he could very well become one of your top picks for the rest of the game. This guide will provide an in-depth overview of everything you need to know about Raptor in Delta Force.
How to Unlock Raptor in Delta Force

Raptor is available after obtaining the Season 6 Pass Rank 15. This requires an accumulation of around 150,000 XP to get here. He is available on the free Battle Pass, so this new operator is unlockable for all. Once Season 6 is over, your chances of obtaining Raptor are nil. To increase your XP, play all the game modes and complete various objectives, you will hit your XP target within a few hours.
Raptor is the 12th operator to be included in Delta Force, and is the third Recon class member. He specialises in stealth gameplay and offers several gadgets to use. Let’s take a look at his traits, gadgets, and playstyle.
Raptor Abilities Explained

Ability | Type | Description |
Threat Detection | Passive Trait | Gives Raptor a warning about enemies aiming at them, and even gives indicators on said enemies’ whereabouts. |
Wing Cam | Gear 1 | Raptor will place a hidden spy cam on a target, which marks their position throughout the game, even after the target is dead. If the camera is identified and destroyed by an enemy, then this reveals Raptor’s location. |
EMP Grenade | Gear 2 | Disables all electronic components and equipment when detonated. |
Silver Wing | Gear 3 | The Silver Wing drone works together with the other gadgets on Raptor’s list. The Silver Wing marks targets within a 90m radius and could either deploy the Wing Cam or an EMP Grenade on them. If the drone has been identified by enemies, it offers a self-destruct option, which causes minor damage once detonated. Self-destructing with the EMP grenade equipped will deal major damage. |
How to Play Raptor

Since Raptor is mostly a stealth operator, he works well in the back end as defense. It is best to use him to spy on targets and take them out from a distance. Any long-range weapon, like a sniper rifle, will go well with his kit. Try to find a high vantage point and inform other operators to have your back while you scan the enemy outpost. Luckily, your passive skill will come in handy to track any oncoming attacks in case you feel you are spotted.
Start off by deploying an EMP Grenade to disable all electrical communication or usage within the enemy encampment. You could either toss the grenade into their compound or use Silver Wing. Silver Wing also helps scan the area and detect targets. Then, follow that up with the Wing Cam and deploy it. Use this to track down enemies and give clear indicators of their locations. Shoot them down when they are within sight to clear the way for other operators.
Tempest is another known Operator to use in Delta Force, so you could pair her up with Raptor to get a clear win. If this doesn’t work out, you can always switch servers to team up with other players.
