The Tempest is the newest operator to join Delta Force, and is an assault operator for Season 5. She is best used for close combat, and with the right loadout, you can utilize her skills more efficiently. There is a lot to learn about her before you can utilize her on the field. This guide will cover how to unlock the Tempest in Delta Force as well as her skillsets explained.

Once you reach level 15 on the free Battle Pass, you will unlock the Tempest. The Tempest operator is one of the newer operators added here, but you need to keep playing the game and win as many rounds as you can to level up. You can play on either PvP or PvE, it doesn’t matter which mode or operator you use, as long as you keep winning and ranking up. Tempest is a Season 5 exclusive operator, so once the season is done, she will be gone for good.

If you take a closer look at her skillset, you will quickly realise that this operator is meant for speed and mobility. Plus, she also offers some stealth skills that are especially handy and also pair well with her being extra mobile. You can utilize her to infiltrate enemy camps and perform takedowns that would otherwise be too risky. Let’s take a look at each of her abilities below.

    AbilityTypeDescription
Auxiliary Spine SurgePassive TraitWhile close to explosives or under fire, Tempest is granted +10% speed boost. This also applies while she is underwater. Helps her dodge incoming attacks and reposition herself quickly.
Tactical Combat RollGadget 1The combat roll helps Tempest to roll out of harm’s way, and the max distance she can reach by rolling in any direction is 7 meters. This skill also cancels fall damage, and cooldown for this skill is either reset or shortened whenever she is knocked down.
Drill ChargeGadget 2Her second gadget will fire a spike that can pierce walls and create an electric field behind them (7x3m). This field will silence and disarm enemies for 3 seconds. Great for shutting down the enemy’s defenses.
Emergency Evasion DeviceTactical GearThis ability will give Tempest a sort of safety rope that acts as an anchor point between her and the area where she wishes to respawn. If she is downed or outside 40 meters of the anchor point, she will be pulled back right to that spot. Lasts 20 seconds and applies only once per life. Fall deaths get canceled under this skill.

As per her kit, Tempest is a highly versatile operator to use, especially during tough situations. You can use her to help you evade high-security areas, and you don’t have to worry about reviving her when she is downed. This operator is highly reliable in taking care of most tasks as hand. While strength might not be on her side, you can still use her agility and stealth skills to tackle most situations.
