Dispatch – Air Team Rescue or Ground Team Rescue?

One of the dispatch calls that you will get in the middle of the mission is about taking care of a falling plane. A trope in many superhero movies, finally, you will get to carry out the task from a Dispatch caller. Here, you must send in the right heroes to take care of the task. We are given two options: either to start Air Team Rescue or Ground Team Rescue.

The plane will arrive at the top-left of the screen, and it will be on its way to the bottom-right of the screen. If you click on the plane, you will get the screen for the Air Team Rescue mission. If you click on the landpad at the bottom-right, you will get the Ground Team Rescue mission.

What happens if you select Air Team Rescue?

Catching a plane in the air requires flying heroes. If you have any flying heroes, let’s say you chose to have Phenomaman instead of Waterboy at the end of Episode 4, then you send in Phenomaman and, along with any other heroes with flying ability, to take care of this task.

The best choices here are Phenomaman, Flambae, Coupe, or Sonar (Based on the decision on Episode 3). If you are putting your team members on the Flight Training sequences, then you must have some flying heroes in your squad to pull off this task.

Reward: The flying heroes will get a bonus XP as a reward.

What happens if you select Ground Team Rescue?

If you don’t have any flying heroes in your Z-Team, then you click on the landing pad on the bottom-right of the screen to get the alternative mission. Here, you must send in the ground-based heroes, who can’t fly. I sent Golem, Punch Up, and Malevola for the Ground Team Rescue.

After you send the team, a disruption will occur in the middle of the Dispatch mission. Here, I had to select Malevola’s exclusive choice, “Open portal, force water landing.” The portal’s ability helped safely land the plane and rescue the civilians inside.

If you have anyone with a Vigor stat, then they will be able to catch the plane. Another exclusive option for landing the plane will go to Prism; she will get the option “Give them a light.”

Rewards: The non-flying heroes will receive XP.

This heroic act will be remembered by the entire Z-Team. If you don’t have the flying team, you can select the ground team to carry out the Dispatch task. Since the team will remember the mission, it will come up during future conversations.
