As you play the Veilguard, you will face challenges and puzzles with each area you explore. Besides exploring each city and solving quests, you also pick up new companions to help you on your journey. The deeper into the game you go, the tougher things start to get. There are a few secret locations that are hard to reach but contain some hidden treasures that make these worth exploring.
You will encounter one such location while exploring Blackthorne Manor, after reaching the Servants’ Wing Passage. There is a locked gate with a treasure chest hidden away, and it is up to you to figure out how to get that open. Blackthorne Manor Lever Puzzle Solution Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Opening the locked Decrepit Shrine in Blackthorne Manor requires you to locate and pull the right 3 levers out of several ones found in the area. The clues for which ones to pull are on top of the shrine door. There will be three tiles, and you have to pull levers that match the symbols on these tiles.

During Emmrich’s side quest “The Sacrifice of Souls”, you will get an objective to follow the red tapestries to find Hezenkoss’ Lantern. Following the objectives will ultimately lead you to Find Hezenkoss’ Workshop, which will help you find the second floor of The Secret Passage in Blackthorne Manor. The Decrepit Shrine with the levers all around is in this area.
All 3 Correct Lever Locations For The Blackthorne Manor Decrepit Shrine
The first lever can be found in front of the door, so pull that first. For the second lever, make your way north of the Secret Passage and enter the opening on the east side. Go up the stairs and use Soothe Torment on the Torment ahead to free a Wisp here.
Carry the wisp to the locked gate on the south side of the Secret Passage area, then watch a skeleton come to life. Wait for it to unlock the gate, then pull the lever inside to complete the second objective. For the final lever, you can find it on the east side of the shrine. If done correctly, all three tiles above the door will start glowing, and you can gain entry into Decrepit Shrine.
