If the gear you own isn’t enough in Borderlands 4, you should visit Maurice’s Black Market for some exquisite deals. Each week, this market opens up in different obscure locations, and for the current week as well, the Black Market machine is in an unexpected place. This guide details where to find it during Week 2 in Borderlands 4.
Maurice’s Black Market Location for Week 2 in Borderlands 4

Head over to Punitive Manufactorium in the Cuspid Climb area within the Terminus Range region for the Sep 19th- 26th period to find the Black Market. The vending machine is deep in a cave, accessible only through water. Drive northeast in your vehicle and enter the cave entrance behind the waterfall. Once inside, continue northeast. Climb up platforms and grapple to the upper levels.

After reaching the location pictured above, turn west and head up the platform. At the end, on the right side of the chest, is the vending machine. Interact with it to check the wares, which offer several legendary items. You can purchase one item every 2 hours. If you leave the menu, regardless of whether you purchased or not, the machine enters a 30-minute cooldown.
The best part is that you are not limited to the number of items you require, as long as you have the money to pay for them. Plus, all Vault Hunters have an equal chance of accessing the machine, so it’s possible to get the same gear on all playable characters. Some of the items that are on sale now are:
- Concussive Buzz Axe Grenade Ordinance: $1,32,2848
- Booming Buzz Axe Grenade Ordinance: $1,32,2848
- Barrage Desperate Fireworks Armor Shield: $1,451,358
- Barrage Segment Fireworks Armor Shield: $1,209,465
- Mad Firewerks Armor Shield: $1,209,465
- Debauched Performative Potato Thrower IV Assault Rifle: $4,429,699

- Vaccinated Playful Potato Thrower IV Assault Rifle: $4,223,270
- Bursting Convergence Shotgun: $4,829,506
How to Unlock the Black Market in Borderlands 4
The Black Market is a post-game challenge that unlocks after picking up the Ultimate Vault Hunter quests. Within this set of quests is one called Maurice’s Bounty. Completing the quest gives a rough introduction to the black market and gives access to basic wares. Completing the other UVH quests will unlock the rest of the store for full access. Each week, the location resets on Friday, so keep exploring various locations the next day to find the new Black Market location.
Bosses in Borderlands 4 also have a chance of dropping legendary items, so check out some of our boss drop guides like Callis, The Ripper Queen Boss Drops, Idolator Sol Boss Drops, and Sidney Pointylegs Boss Drops.
