Callis, the Ripper Queen, is another major boss that you have to fight at the end of the “Her Flaming Vision” quest in the Borderlands 4 campaign. She’s an eccentric spider-like boss with robot legs and unpredictable attacks who has cut ties with the Timekeeper, yet she poses a grave threat to you and the Vault Hunters. You can obtain up to six Legendary items after defeating this Timekeeper commander, and here’s what they are:

Callis, The Ripper Queen All Legendary Drops In Borderlands 4

After you’ve defeated Callis, the Ripper Queen in Borderlands 4, she’ll drop any one of these six Legendary items for you to collect: 1) Queen’s Rest; 2) Pandoran Memento; 3) Illusionist; 4) Viking; 5) Esgrimidor; or 6) Skeptic. Here are the stats for each of these Legendary Weapons, Class Mods, and Shield.

    Queen’s Rest

The Queen’s Rest from Callis, the Ripper Queen is a Legendary Pistol with a Special Weapon Effect: Royal Armor, which fires high-speed rounds and has a 30% chance to spawn a Homing Sticky Projectile. The Pistol’s vibrant purple and gold look tacky, yet stylish, and it also features a scope attached to it, providing increased precision and accuracy.

This weapon’s Alt Fire Mode offers Exhaust Blast, which releases a Blast on nearby enemies, dealing increased damage with a longer cooldown period. If you’re running an Explosive or a Splash Damage build, consider adding this weapon to your arsenal. You can’t go wrong with it.

    Pandoran Memento

The Pandoran Memento is a Legendary Energy Shield with a Special Weapon Effect: Psychosis, which offers +15% Elemental Resistance when taking damage, and +50% Resistance to the last Elemental Damage Type received for 5 seconds. More perks include Brimming, which regenerates Health when Energy Shield is full, and Resistant, which grants +22% Resistance to Elemental Damage when the Shield is active.

    Illusionist

Illusionist is a Vex-specific Legendary Siren Class Mod that allows Specters and Reapers a chance to turn into Badasses, gaining increased Damage Dealt and Maximum Health. On top of that, the chance for Specters and Reapers to become Badasses increases the longer it hasn’t triggered, and it will occur once every 90 seconds. It also offers increased Phase Clone Health loss over time and increased Assault Rifle Damage.

    Viking

Viking is an Amon-specific Legendary Forgeknight Class Mod that allows Crucible to gain 2 more Charges, increased Duration and offers Amon increased Damage Reduction when Crucible is active. It also offers increased Detonation Damage and Assault Rifle Damage.

    Esgrimidor

Esgrimidor is a Rafa-specific Legendary Exo-Soldier Class Mod that offers his Melee Attacks increased Critical Hit Chance, and Critical Hits with Melee Attacks moderately restore Action Skill Duration. It also offers an additional increased Movement Speed and Melee Damage for Rafa.

    Skeptic

Skeptic is one of the rarest Legendary drops from Callis, the Ripper Queen boss in Borderlands 4. It’s a Harlowe-specific Legendary Gravitar Class Mod that fires homing Cryo Darts and Radiation Darts whenever she Slams an enemy in Stasis. It restores Action Skill Cooldown when shooting enemies with an active Status Effect, while also offering increased Stasis Damage and Health Regenerated per second.

How to Defeat Callis, the Ripper Queen

Callis, the Ripper Queen, is weak to Weapons that have Incendiary and Corrosive Elemental Damage types, so make sure to carry those Weapons if you want to breeze through this fight. She’ll be located in Moon-Called Throne at the Fallen Crown in Carcadia Burn. You’ll be able to fight her at the end of the mission, “Her Flaming Vision”. She has multiple unpredictable attacks, so let’s take a look at them and how to avoid her wrath:

    1. Suicidal Rippers: At the beginning of the fight, Callis will summon Suicidal Rippers with explosives strapped to their bodies. During this move, Dash away from the Rippers and aim at the explosive on their body to kill them before they get you. There will be three of them at the start of the fight, which is why you should blow them up before they do the same to you.
    2. Ripper King: Throughout the fight, she’ll summon a Ripper King robot that floats around her, and attack you for the entire duration if you don’t take care of it. It’s best to destroy the Ripper King before focusing on the Ripper Queen herself.
    3. Fiery Stomp: In the fight, Callis will stomp her robot legs on the ground, shooting lava out in multiple directions. When she’s ready to stomp, her legs will start glowing, giving you an indicator. Simply Double Jump or Dash out of the way, and hover above the ground to avoid taking any lava damage.
    4. Proximity Bombs: As you progress through the fight, she’ll throw Proximity Bombs at you, which will explode upon being inside the area of explosion. These Proximity Bombs will be indicated by a red marker, so watch out whenever you see an indicator in front of you.
    5. Arm Slash: Callis will use her arms to slash upwards, dealing devastating damage. Since this is a melee attack, dashing to either right or left can easily get you out of her robotic grasp.
    6. Tail Slam: During the fight, she’ll jump high into the air and slam the ground hard with her tail, dealing massive damage. As soon as she jumps up, Dash to the left or right, or use Double Jump and back away from her to avoid unnecessary damage.
    7. Ground Mortars: Callis will also fire Mortars on the ground, around the location, which explode on impact. During this move, the targeted zones will be indicated so traverse around the area, above the ground to steer clear of these Mortars.
    8. Digital Webs: Near the end of the fight, she’ll start summoning digital structures that resemble Spider Webs all over the arena, which will exponentially slow down your movement, making you an easy target for her. She’ll also summon some Rippers during this move, so watch out for them as well. Don’t get caught up in the Digital Webs, avoid all digital structures in the arena, be on the move constantly and keep shooting at her.

Aim at her head and legs for critical hits with your Incendiary and Corrosive weaponry, use your Grenades to damage her spider-like robotic legs, and analyze her attack pattern carefully to deplete her health and end the boss fight as fast as you can. It might take a few tries, but you’ll defeat her eventually. When you’re done with the boss fight, collect her Bolt and the Legendary loot, then exit the arena.

This brings us to the end of the Callis, the Ripper boss fight, and all the Legendary items that are obtainable from the boss fight in Borderlands 4. If you’re looking for more Legendary boss drops, check out our extensive guides on Idolator Sol and Sidney Pointylegs.
