Rock Candy is the new currency that has been added with Prospecting’s Halloween Event 2025 update. This currency is used to purchase items at The Graveyard such as new Pan, new Shovel, new Halloween-themed shop items, and more. Obtaining this currency is tedious as it’s brand new. However, there is a method that can significantly increase your Rock Candy collection in Prospecting, and here’s how you can do it.
Deposit High-Rarity Spooky or Ghostly Ores at The Cauldron

The fastest way to obtain Rock Candy in Prospecting is to deposit Legendary Ores with Spooky or Ghostly Modifiers at The Cauldron inside The Graveyard. The Cauldron is located opposite to where The Reaper NPC spawns, on the right. You can deposit Ores that have Spooky or Ghostly Modifiers to increase The Cauldron’s brewing quality to 240%, then wait for 30 minutes and reap your rewards.
You can skip the 30-minute waiting process with 39 Robux, but if you’re a F2P player, you might as well wait. Now, getting Spooky or Ghostly Modifiers on your Ores is hard, but not impossible. The best way to get them is to boost your Modifier percentage. To do this, you need Solar Magnifiers, which are either purchased at the Graveyard for 150 Rock Candy or obtained by completing Excavations.

Once you’ve obtained the Solar Magnifier, start digging for Ores at the water body near The Church. Your chances of getting Spooky or Ghostly Modifiers increase during an event called Hallow’s Eve. When the event is active, start digging for Ores inside The Graveyard to get more Spooky and Ghostly Modifiers on every Ore. This event happens randomly throughout the day, so keep an eye out.
You’ll get more Rock Candy from the Cauldron by depositing higher-tier Ores with Spooky or Ghostly Modifiers, like Mythics but Legendaries are the safest bet. Similarly, Epic-tier Ores will fetch you lesser Rock Candy. Here are the steps to get the maximum Rock Candy from The Cauldron:
- Use Solar Magnifiers during Hallow’s Eve to boost your chances of getting higher-rarity Ores with Spooky or Ghostly Modifiers.
- Once you obtain the Ores, head to the Cauldron and deposit them until the brew quality reaches 240%.
- Then, wait for 30 minutes, or skip the wait with 39 Robux.
- Lastly, interact with The Cauldron after the brewing process is over to obtain Rock Candy.
- Rinse and repeat the process to keep collecting more Rock Candy.
This is by far the best method to get Rock Candy is Prospecting right now. You’ll have enough currency to buy all Halloween-themed items if you do this method correctly, and are consistent with it. There are other methods to obtain Rock Candy in Prospecting, but they aren’t as viable. Still, we’ll list them down below for your convenience.
Other Ways to Obtain Rock Candy

The next method to collect Rock Candy in Prospecting is to complete quests from Halloween NPCs and scare other NPCs around the map. There are three new NPCs that spawn inside The Graveyard, and here are the quests they offer.
- The Reaper: Interact with him to obtain a new Spooky Mask and a new quest, which requires you to scare 25 NPCs around the Prospecting map.
- The Ghost: To complete The Ghost’s quest, you need to collect 200 Rock Candy
- The Skeleton: You need to bring 1 Lost Soul to The Skeleton to complete his quest.
Completing these NPC quests will reward you with Rock Candy that you can use to purchase Solar Magnifiers from the Halloween Shop at The Graveyard. Finally, one more method you can try out is scare NPCs around the map by wearing the Spooky Mask. Each NPC you scare will fetch you around 4-5 Rock Candy, and one NPC can only be scared once in 24 hours. After the timer resets, you can scare them again.
You can use Runes to increase your Luck and get a boost to your Modifiers to increase your chances of getting Spooky and Ghostly Ores.
