Best End Game Weapons In Stalker 2
Dnipro (Best Assault Rifle)
- Weight: 3.73 kg
- Magazine Size: 30
- Caliber: 5.45×39
- How to get: Can be bought from Wreck at the Yaniv Station in Red Forest
The Dnipro is quite literally the best assault rifle in Stalker 2 which also makes it one of the best weapons to have, period. It supports all attachments that you can put on the AKM. Because of this, you will already have a bunch of attachments for it and most importantly you will likely have tons of ammo since 5.49×39 is one of the most common types of ammo you can find in loot.
M701 Super (Best Sniper Rifle)
- Weight: 4.62 kg
- Magazine Size: 5
- Caliber: .308
- How to get: Can be bought from Wreck at the Yaniv Station in Red Forest but can also be found in some high-tier loot areas
For the Stalkers looking for the best possible weapon for ranged engagement, it doesn’t get better than the M701 Super. This powerful sniper features the classic bolt action mechanism that delivers destructive damage with each bullet. With one of the highest damage in the game also comes a sacrifice, and for this weapon, it’s the ammo. The ammo will be sparse and rare to find but by the end game of Stalker 2, you will have enough to carry you through it.
Saiga D-12 (Best Shotgun)
- Weight: 3.76 kg
- Magazine Size: 8
- Caliber: 12”/70
- How to get: You can get one for free during one of the main missions called ‘In Search of a Guide‘ but can also be bought from Wreck at the Yaniv Station in Red Forest
While there are multiple shotguns in the game that cater to different situations and uses, the Saiga D-12 is the most robust of them all and can be used in virtually any close-range engagement. It features incredible amounts of bullet penetration which makes taking out those heavily armored enemies feel like a walk in the park. Fortunately, somewhere during the mid-to-end game, you will get this shotgun during one of the main missions if you haven’t already.
Encourage (Best Pistol)
- Weight: 1.21 kg
- Magazine Size: 18
- Caliber: 9×18
- How to get: Can only be obtained from one of the main missions in end game (Pripyat)
When it comes to pistols, you can use the default Skif’s pistol for most of the game. But if you talk about the end game, this is one of the pistols in the game that you can only get during the end game i.e. after the point of no return. I won’t spoil the mission but just be on the lookout during the final few missions as that’s your only chance to get the best end-game pistol in Stalker 2. It may look like a regular PTM but it’s instead a burst pistol that shoots a burst of three bullets with each trigger pull.
Best End Game Armor in Stalker 2
Cuirass Exoskeleton (Best Armor)
How to get: The Cuirass Exoskeleton is found on top of a shelf on the topmost rafter of the SKD Assembly Unit building at the Cooling Towers.
If you are looking for the best-in-class physical damage protection, the Cuirass Exoskeleton should be your go-to. This is extremely powerful in the end game as you will face many difficult enemies that deal a lot of damage which this armor can tank easily. The only downside? Your mobility is going to be very bad to the point where you will have difficulty sprinting. Because of that, this end-game gear in Stalker 2 is best used for combat situations.
SEVA-I Suit (Best Suit)
How to get: The SEVA-I Suit can be found in a locked cell at the Arms Depot in the Duga region.
When you need to go on an anomaly run to hunt for rare artifacts, it doesn’t get better than the SEVA-I Suit in Stalker 2. This one has enough protection against things like radio, thermal, electric, etc to keep you safe even if you get caught in an anomaly. On top of that, it also features a decent amount of physical protection so that you are safe if you find yourself in an unexpected gunfight.
PA-7 Gas Mask (Best Mask)
How to get: Has a chance to spawn at vendors like Wreck but can also be found in random high-tier loot locations.
This military adaptation of a civilian gas mask gives you the best of both worlds by providing solid protection against anomalous hazards while also having high physical protection. Pairing this with good armor will significantly increase defense for Skif and be able to take a lot of beating before things like bleeding occur.
Best End Game Artifacts In Stalker 2
Compass
- Radiation: Maximum
- Physical Protection: Maximum (Negative)
- How to get: Can be found in Gravitational Anomalies
One of the legendary artifacts in the game, the Compass is the best end-game gear when exploring radioactive zones. This artifact will give you maximum protection against Radiation which no other artifact in the game does. Can be tough to find but once you do, it is going to be in your main gear slot for a long time.
Weird Ball
- Unique Effect: Reduces bullet damage especially when standing still.
- How to get: Found at the Bubla Anomaly towards the east of Zalissya
Despite being a legendary artifact that you can find in the first region. It holds as one of the best artifacts to have on your belt along with other powerful end-game gear in Stalker 2. This is a very unique artifact because it doesn’t really have the usual aspects and stats of an artifact instead it just reduces the bullet damage that you receive.
Bubble
- Radio Protection: Medium
- How to get: Found in Acid Anomalies
If you are looking to go into areas with a lot of radioactivity going on, the Bubble is a great artifact even though it only has medium radioprotection. This medium protection is really good when you consider that it does not have any negative effects like most artifacts do. This can help you a lot in some end-game areas in Stalker 2.
Flytrap
- Radiation: Medium (Negative)
- Weight Effect: Medium
- How to get: Can be found in Gravitational Anomalies
The Flytrap is a great artifact to have for weight management. I always tend to keep a Flytrap in my inventory as whenever you start getting encumbered, you can put this on and trade some of the weight off of your body for some extra radiation which can easily be managed if you have the resources for it. Despite not being that rare, it is one of the best end-game gear to have in Stalker 2.
