Mailroom Shelf room in Back to the Dawn opens up an indirect access to the Inmate Property Store room in the prison. Gaining access to the room will help you find the wallet in the room. Since the direct access to the room is blocked by a security door, placing the mailroom shelf is the only way to progress the quest. Here is the way to complete the mailroom shelf puzzle to gain access to the Inmate Property Store Room in Back of the Dawn.
Solving the Mail Room Puzzle
In order to lessen the confusion, we have named each of the shelves A, B, C, and D to help you sort out the shelf puzzle a bit easier.
- First, push the cart x2 times. Now, you can head to the left side of the room, previously blocked by the shelves. Here, pull the D shelf at the bottom-left of the room. Now head to the other side of the same D shelf and push until it touches the A shelf on the top.
- This will create space for us to move the C shelf located at the bottom of the room. Head to the right side of the C shelf, and push it until it touches the wall on the left.
- Now, pull the B Shelf x2 times, get to the other side of the B shelf, and push until it touches the fence. Now move the cart to the space on the left between the A and the C shelf.
- Now pull the B shelf x2 times. Interact with the A shelf and pull it once, head to the C shelf, pull it once, and get to the other side of the C Shelf and push it until it touches the wall on the right.
- Now put the cart at the bottom right of the room. Now pull the D shelf to the bottom, and push the A shelf to the right, and you will have the route wide open between the entrance and the vents.
Now you can go through the vents to gain access to all the files stored inside the Inmate Property Store Room, here interact with the table’s bottom-right end of the corner to gather information about your storage, then interact with the map north of the room to find the location of your stored property.
