You would have been familiar with Adra stones while exploring the world of Avowed, but there is a different variant of the regular Adra called the Strangled Adra. Strangled Adra is not your typical party camp, as you can cleanse them to get some rewards. There are 5 such Strangled Adra to find all around the Living Lands, and we are going to detail all the locations for them in Avowed below.
How To Get All Strangled Adra In Avowed
You might have encountered a strange Adra that gives off an unfamiliar aura that isn’t like anything you have seen before. You can interact with these Strangled Adra, but you can’t set up a party camp like you would normally. But you can interact with them to cleanse them and gain XP. Below are the 5 locations that you can visit to find Strangled Adra.
Strangled Adra Location #1 – Dawnshore
The first instance of the Strangled Adra is around Emerald Stair Gatehouse Beacon in Dawnshore. It is right at the exit point of Dawnshore, so you might miss it on your way out of the region. Once you head to the far east side of Paradis, near Southern Embrace, you will find the Emerald Stair Gatehouse beacon. Head a bit to the north till you find a cave entrance to your right.
Go through the passage within the cave till you find flammable branches blocking the way. Use your fiery spell or Kai’s fire ability to burn the branches away. Continue through the cave and solve the small puzzles along the way till you gain access to the next areas. Eventually, you can exit the cave to find the Strangled Adra beyond the final cave doors.
Strangled Adra Location #2 – Emerald Stair
For this one, head over to Rock Arch Beacon in The Delemgan Glade and head north towards Tama’s Cabin. Just a bit beyond the cabin, keep to your left till you find some platforms near the mountain wall that you can climb up on. Keep climbing up while checking upwards for the Strangled Arda, you can find it as you keep going up.
Strangled Adra Location #3 – Shatterscarp
Make your way towards Thirdborn, but don’t go through the settlement. Rather, head over to the Thirdborn Party Camp and head east towards Broken Crown Rock.
Head inside Broken Crown Rock and climb up the platforms on the right. You just need to go up the first two ledges till you find an opening between the rocks on the right. Go through the hole and jump across to the other side to find the Strangled Adra.
Strangled Adra Location #4 – Galawain’s Tusk
To the east of Withering Ruins in The Sallow Steppe is a party camp, from there go further east and you will find a rocky structure with wooden boards leading up. Go up the wooden boards to find the fourth Strangled Adra.
Strangled Adra Location #5 – The Garden
The final Strangled Adra can be found north of the Overlook party camp near the Broken Aqueduct. You will find the Strangled Adra on top of the mountain on your right. To get up there, head into the water northeast. Swim through the water and you will find some platforms you can climb on the left side.
Get up there, then look to your right to find an opening in the wall. To get over there, freeze the water below, walk over, then climb up. Continue down the path that takes you to the left, you will soon find the Strangled Adra here.
