Nodes in the Operational Manual make up a good chunk of early progression in Arknights Endfield. By completing them, you’ll meet new mechanics as they’re introduced, build up leveling materials, and earn 5-star weapons of every category.
A few of them can be major roadblocks, but none have stalled the community’s progress like the Node 6 quest: In Valley IV, add 2 Stock Redistributors into the system.
As the name suggests, this one requires two different Stock Redistributors to be active in Valley IV. While the first is easy enough, as it’s part of a story quest, the second is very easy to miss, especially since it requires some setup before you can active it proper.
If you haven’t been introduced to the Stock Redistribution Terminal through the main missions yet, keep playing until you have, then you’ll be able to unlock both Redistributors.
Let’s go over exactly how to activate that second Stock Redistributor, so you can nail that node and rewards on offer!
Unlocking the Second Stock Redistributor

First things first, you’ll need to unlock the ability to activate the second Stock Redistributor. To do so, head back to the Hub and warp to the TP point north of the Worker Dorms. Beside it sits the Stock Redistribution Terminal, manned by Lucky Carrot.
Lucky Carrot will introduce upgrading the Stock Redistribution Terminal, which will unlock more items to buy, the stock trading system, and most importantly, the Second Stock Redistributor.

This will cost 4500 Valley IV Stock Bills, an amount of currency you should have no trouble amassing if you’ve been following the story and supporting your outposts.
Remember, you can get Stock Bills by…
- Selling items to outposts
- Killing enemies in a region
- Opening chests in a region
- Completing quests
With the upgrade purchased, you’ll have free reign to open up the second Stock Redistributor, you’ll just need to find it.
Where is the Second Stock Redistributor?

The second Stock Redistributor is found in the Origin Lodespring, directly to the east of the TP point in the Mining Camp. You’ll once again find Lucky Carrot, who has just reestablished contact with his sources in the area.

You can now purchase the Lodespring Redistributor, this time for a whopping 36000 Valley IV Stock Bills. This is a pretty penny, but it opens up a huge upgrade to your overall purchasing limit, introduces new items, and opens up new avenues for the Stock system.
Buying this upgrade will unlock the Node quest, but you’re surely wondering what all this stock hubbub is about by this point, right?
What Does the Stock Redistributor Do in Arknights Endfield?

Bundled with the ability to buy the Origin Lodespring Redistributor, upgrading the central Terminal introduces the Elastic Stock system. This essentially works like an actual stock market, allowing you to buy shares of items that are under fluctuating prices.
These items can cost insane amounts of Stock Bills, but the whole point is to game the system. If you see an item at a heavy discount, buy plenty and wait for the price to rise. It’s another simple way to get boatloads of Stock Bills, as long as you remember to check back often.
You can check the Elastic Goods tab at any unlocked Redistributor for a region, so come back whenever you can to see if you have unlocked to make sure you don’t miss a big opportunity.
Upgrading the Terminal and buying other Redistributors also opens up the purchasing of new HH tickets, 5 star weapons, and grind materials to speed up character leveling. Just another avenue to increase your power, if you’re willing to put in the time.
