While progressing through Endfield‘s story, you’ll come across the quest Westward Into the Vale. Westward Into the Vale tasks you with proceeding to the Valley Pass to the west of the Hub, newly supported by Wulfgard.
In order to progress, you’ll need to power the Electric Nexus connected to the bridge’s lever. If you’re stumped on how to power the lever and move on, this guide will lay it out step by step.
Finding a Connection

To power the lever, you’ll need to connect the nearby Electric Nexus to a consistent source of power. Your best bet will be utilizing some Relay Towers to connect the Automation Core’s power to the Electric Nexus, as the cable’s 80 meter range is far too short.
To make the necessary Relay Towers, you’ll need:
- 20 Orgiocrust per Relay Tower
- Direct Connections between each relay
It took me three to make the distance, coming out to 60 Orgiocrust. If you’re out, remember to collect some from the Refining Unit still by the Automation Core from an earlier quest!
Making the Connection

In Endfield, power has to be supplied from a source, be that a repaired Power Station, or in this case, a nearby Automation Core. You’ll need to connect the power cable from the Automation core to each Relay you’re using to extend the range, then to the Nexus directly.
To connect Facilities to power:
- Walk up to the Automation Core and select ‘Start Transmission’.
- Construct a Relay Tower at the cable’s maximum range.
- Select the ‘Plug Transmission Cable’ button to stabilize the connection
Repeat these steps until you’ve made it to the Electric Nexus, and the bridge will lower, opening the path to the Valley Pass.
From here on, you’ll also have access to Wulfgard as a firey DPS unit for future teams, a great wide range attacker to use while you roll for better Fire carries.
The Valley Pass also introduces plenty of Endfield’s Industry mechanics, so remember the lessons you’ve learned to best help out the people of Talos-II. Help them survive, and they’ll make your grind all the easier in the coming days.
