With the weight of James Bond games being iconic and impactful, it makes sense that they would go all out for the soundtrack of the latest Bond game. Besides Lana del Rey being a gift for the game’s soundtrack, it also marks the return of composer David Arnold. He is the creative mind behind such heavyweight songs like Die Another Day, The World is Not Enough, and Casino Royale, all of which have given their dark, savoury melodies to the respective movies.
While there’s still a lot of discussion on who will be the next James Bond in the movies, what will the next movie be covering or remaking, many Bond fans are already eager for the latest development for the upcoming game, as well as the game developers’ having their moment to have a Bond song for the game.

Lana Del Rey’s presence might bring new fans into the gaming world of James Bond, and give a worthy breath of air while setting the tone for what’s to come for the most competent British spy after Austin Powers.
Composer David Arnold said he “was so excited to work with Lana, an artist who brought elegance, atmosphere, and her totally unique character to this piece, which I hope will open the world of Bond to a whole new audience.” It is hard not to agree with him, as the performers of Bond songs always had that charm Lana exudes.
007 First Light’s homonymous song is available to stream across all platforms, while the 007 game First Light will drop on May 27th on all consoles besides the Nintendo Switch 2, which has been delayed for now.
