“Please stand by,” reads an image within an image. Someone’s displaying Fallout iconography in a game studio, and they’re confident enough to show that to the world. General impressions are that something new is coming, but this tease didn’t reach us from any Bethesda source.
Posted to Bluesky and LinkedIn, Iron Galaxy Studios has teased a new Fallout project. Details are sparce, but based on the fact that this game studio is a studio for games, it really does seem like a new Fallout title is coming.

Right now, the biggest theory is that it’ll be that highly-requested remaster of Fallout 3 or New Vegas. And considering what Iron Galaxy typically does, that’s likely not too far off.
Iron Galaxy has development credits, but they’re primarily a support studio. That means they don’t usually work alone; they work with other established studios, often helping them launch games on new platforms.
They’re the reason the Batman Arkham games reached PC, and brought games like Overwatch to the Nintendo Switch. They’ve even worked with Bethesda, developing the Switch port of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

But Iron Galaxy’s power when flying solo isn’t an unknown quantity. Their latest venture in this regard was a remaster, releasing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 just last year.
Given that Iron Galaxy has done remasters before, and have a good relationship with Bethesda, and are now teasing something Fallout-related coming in the near future… it’s not hard to do the math here.
What New Fallout Project Is Iron Galaxy Studios Creating?

Details are sparce on this new Fallout project, and that’s for good reason. It’s more than likely that Iron Galaxy doesn’t yet know all the details either. They know more than us – a lot more – but that’s not saying much.
According to those Bluesky/LinkedIn posts, they were showcasing what’s “coming up next” in a company meeting. In all likelihood, this probably means their higher-ups have only recently told the dev team what they’ll be working on. So if this truly is a Fallout game remaster, they’re only at the starting gate.
From Bethesda’s end, this announcement is still relatively fresh off the heels of the highly successful Oblivion remaster. Giving another game from around the same era a similarly nostalgic treatment seems like an easy win for all parties involved.
So if you want to get an idea of where an Iron Galaxy’d Fallout remaster might go, look no further than the two games fueling this speculative fire. This would be a project inspired by the Oblivion remaster’s success, done by the people who made Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4.
