When No Man’s Sky was first released, it was so bare bones that the only threat in the game known as the Sentinels was barely even a threat. Now, years after countless updates, No Man’s Sky has transformed into a huge game with Sentinels being the menacing threat they were always meant to be.

You can now even find corrupt sentinels on specific dissonance planets. And this is exactly where you are going to find some unique resources like Atlantideum in No Man’s Sky. Here is everything you need to know on how to get it.

Atlantideum in No Man’s Sky can be found on dissonant corrupted planets by mining the medium-sized pink glowing crystals growing out of the surface called “Living Fragments”. While that will be your main source of Atlantideum, it can also be obtained from eliminating corrupt sentinels on dissonant planets and by looting wheelbarrows in Harmonic camps.

To find a planet with corrupted sentinels, first find a system that says “Dissonant” in its description, then find a planet within it that says “Dissonance Detected” when scanned. Land anywhere on this planet and look around for pink crystals with dead sentinels stuck to them like in the picture above. Mine these “Living Fragments” to obtain Atlantideum.

What is Atlantideum Used For in No Man’s Sky?

Atlantideum is used to craft the Mind Ark, an important item in the Artemis questline. Here are all the items you need to craft the Mind Ark in No Man’s Sky:

    • Hypnotic Eye x1
    • Atlantideum x99
    • Activated Copper x64

It is also later used in the Autophage faction questline when you have to interact with Korvax monolith structures. It will allow you to access some text that gives you details on the long-forgotten faction. Atlantiduem in No Man’s Sky can also be refined into Pugneum.
