Ghost of Tsushima fans would be familiar with Jin Sakai’s armor set. There is a neat Easter Egg in Ghost of Yotei that provides you with Jin Sakai’s armor, weapon, and mask from Ghost of Tsushima. For that, you need to complete a unique storyline for an NPC. So if you are looking to rock the Storm Blade and the Ghost Mask in Yotei as well, this is how to go about getting your hands on them.
How to Complete Mythic Tale: The Storm Blade in Ghost of Yotei
You need to find Ugetsu the Storyteller and complete The Storm Blade mythic quest to get the Storm Blade, Ghost Mask, and Stag Helmet. Ugetsu the Storyteller is located at the Forgotten Shrine at Oshima Coast. You will reach this point during the Saito Brothers’ main story quest during Chapter 2 – The Onryo.
Head southwest of Oshima Coast to find the Shrine and the Storyteller sitting near the entrance. Ugetsu will reveal that he is searching for a legendary blade known as the Storm Blade, rumored to be located somewhere on the Oshima Coast.
Stag Helmet Location
After the interaction, head up the shrine’s stairs and go left to find the fox altar. Interact with it to start the quest. A gray fox will appear nearby, follow it along, and navigate through the cavern till you reach the Glade of Remembrance. Continue to follow the fox, and eventually you will come across a large wooden building. Enter it to collect the Stag Helmet.
Storm Blade and Ghost Mask Location
Make your way up the building’s rooftop and get across to reach the top of the waterfall. Once you are up there, follow the path ahead to find the Storm Blade. But the quest doesn’t end here, as the Nine Tails will ambush you and steal the blade. Continue onwards while following the fox to reach the Home of the First Shinobi.
Just beyond this area is the Grave of the Warrior of the Storm, where you will encounter the Nine Tails for the second time. Defeat the Sword Thief and reclaim the sword, then interact with the tombstone after the cutscene to collect the Ghost Mask.
