How to Complete ‘Someone Must Have A Lead’ in the Yotei Six Quest
To progress, keep defeating and interrogating random groups of Ronin until one offers you a choice between three quests: The Oni, The Kitsune, or The Saito Brothers. You can only accept one quest at a time. Complete any of the three, then return to find more Ronin and repeat the process until you have completed all three quests.
Progressing through each quest updates your main quest objectives accordingly. There isn’t a required order, but all three must be completed to advance the main story.
You will come to this point after completing the fourth quest in the main storyline, ‘Saito’, in Chapter 1. You will then begin the Yotei Six, the fifth main quest. At this point, your objective changes to “Find information about the Yotei Six.”
Best Ronin Locations
If you are having a hard time trying to find Ronins, check the following locations for them. Also, if a Ronin spots you, they will approach you automatically for a fight.
- The riverbed in Yotei Grasslands: If you walk along the side of the river, you will get ambushed by them, giving you a chance to find the right person to offer these quests.
- While completing the Way of the Dual Katana quest, you would have traveled north of the Mountain Trail towards Jade Grove. There are Ronin encounters to find along this path.
- By going west of your starting Home and southwest of the Old Inn, you might find a group of Ronin near the river.
- Exploring around the Great Mountain Wolf Den between the Yotei and Nupun rivers also offers a Ronin encounter.
- If the above locations don’t work, continue defeating enemies who appear on horseback until one of them leads you towards the correct enemy.
While exploring the rivers or fields, keep an eye out for ambush items like ropes that will lead you to them.
After completing the entirety of the Yotei Six quest, you are now one step closer to unraveling the secrets surrounding the death of Atsu’s family in Ghost of Yotei.
