There are some new rods to add to your collection after unlocking the new Luminescent Cavern in Fisch. Once collected, these rods will supply various buffs to help you capture the newer wildlife scattered across the various caverns. There is one particular rod that is a bit harder to get. This guide will detail how to get the secret Boom Ball in Fisch.
Boom Ball Rod Location in Fisch
The secret Boom Ball is located deep within the Desolate Pocket. To find this area, first, purchase a GPS to help you with easier navigation. Also, purchase diving gear and flippers, either the advanced or basic diving gear. It is best to purchase the GPS from Moosewood rather than Mushgrove Swamp to make the next steps easier. Next, get on a boat and travel north-northwest towards coordinates X: -801.4, Y: 132.3, Z: -3083.
You will reach a buoy, from there, jump into the water, and dive deep below. It will get dark as you keep going, but some items will have a faint outline to identify them. Look around for a signboard, and make a right from there. There will be a mine nearby, so try to avoid hitting it. Take a left once you reach the end of the passage to reach the Desolate Pocket.
How to Get the Boom Ball
To get the Boom Ball, you need to die 25 times within the Desolate Pocket. First, after locating the island in Desolate Pocket, make a spawn point on the campsite by talking to the Desolate Deep Innkeeper. Next, jump into the water and swim over to the area where you will spot a mine below you. Get close to it to blow up and respawn near the innkeeper.
Note: Each time you die, you will lose 2000C$. Don’t attempt this if you don’t have enough cash on you.
Continue this process 25 times, after which you will be taken to Desolator’s Rest. The area is pretty dark, but if you look closely enough, you will spot a few mines around. Try to avoid bumping into them by walking in a straight line. Soon enough, you will find the Boom Ball, which costs 1,000,000 C$. After purchasing the Boom Ball, you could use the Conception Conch to leave the area or leave and rejoin the server.
