The Kingdom of Pharloom is home to three Hearts that you must obtain in Hollow Knight: Silksong. One of them is the Heart of the Wild, for which you need to claim the Hunter’s Heart. Getting the Heart of the Wild is no easy feat, and it requires defeating a boss that has a bone-filled arsenal with a large health pool. Here’s how you can claim the Hunter’s Heart for the Heart of the Wild in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
Heart of the Wild Location
To obtain the Heart of the Wild, you need to defeat Skarrsinger Karmelita, who resides inside a secret area in Far Fields in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Start at Hunter’s March as shown in the image above. From there, go to the top, and head right to enter the next area.
In the next area, keep heading right and avoid the spikes below using your traversal abilities. Make use of Double Jumps, Pogo Jump on the red structures and metal buttons, and utilize the Faydown Cloak ability to get across. Once you’ve reached the far end, you’ll find the entrance to the next area on your right.
You’ll notice a lever in front of you. Hit the lever, which will block the air vent below you and keep heading right to find another entrance. Access it to enter the next area required for progression.
Continue straight and drop down using the two platforms below. Once you’re on the ground, keep heading right until you come to the location as shown on the map above. Keep checking your map to be aware of your location. From here, jump down to an opening below, which will take you to the next area.
Drop down further below until you reach the mossy ground. Once you’re on the ground, continue right until you locate a small grassy pocket with enemies shooting fireballs at you. Dodge the enemy projectiles, and head right to find the entrance to the next area.
Climb to the platform at the top right, then use all your traversal abilities to get across. Utilize the rings located above the red spikes to navigate the area more easily. Continue heading right, and you’ll eventually arrive at the location as shown in the image above.
Once you’re there, jump up to the opening above and keep climbing using your Cling Grip ability. Turn left and use Swift Step to avoid the red spikes below, then jump up through the narrow entrance located on the ceiling to reach the next area.
Turn left and continue onwards. You’ll have to use your traversal abilities and the rings here as well to get across the platforms and avoid the red spikes. Keep going left to reach the far end of the area.
Once you’re at the far left, climb up the two platforms located on top of each other. You’ll notice another opening on the ceiling, with some light visible. Head through this opening to enter the next area.
Head right and enter another area. Continue on the right path to come across a large door with the option to enter. You need to head through this door.
Inside the door, you’ll be able to interact with the boss. After your interaction, you’ll be transported to a completely new area. In the new location, head right, then climb up the platforms. Go through the short path up ahead, then drop down and head left to enter the Skarrsinger Karmelita boss fight arena. You must challenge her to begin the boss fight and have a chance at obtaining the Heart of the Wild.
Once you’ve defeated her, you’ll wake up in the previous area where you first interacted with the boss. Here, the Hunter’s Heart will be just beside you. Pick up the Hunter’s Heart to get the Heart of the Wild.
