The wish Passing of the Age requires the player to find 7 different locations of Mister Mushroom in Silksong. All the locations of the Mushroom are going to be different, and you will need to be standing on a specific spot to spawn Mister Mushroom and clear the objective. How to Start the Passing of the Age Wish in Silksong
You must unlock the area, Putrified Ducts, east of the Memorium and north of Bilewater. Here, you need to go all the way east of the Putrified Ducts to start the wish.
Note: You must be in Act 3 to reach the area.
When you interact with the Riddle Tablet, it will give out clues to find the location of all Mister Mushrooms in the game. Interacting with the tablet will start the Witness: Passing of the Age. Press Yes to begin the Witness.
- Clue #1: Under the chapel fallen to the monarch’s might,
- Clue #2: Over camp collapsed to the black thread plight,
- Clue #3: Scorched field on edge, shells black and burned,
- Clue #4: Up towers spinning, near the surgeon spurned
- Clue #5: Cage of one who raged against the silken lie
- Clue #6: Fell heart of frost, who soars on high
- Clue #7: Past cradle’s peak, last test of fitness, that the age may pass, this shroom is its witness.
All 7 Mister Mushroom Locations in Silksong
Mister Mushroom #1 | Moss Grotto
Head to the Bench located all the west of Moss Grotto, under the route to Ruined Chapel. Here, walk towards the right, and you will find a blue mushroom on the ground. Interact with it to get your first Mister Mushroom.
Mister Mushroom #2 | Bone Bottom
Head to the Bellway Station in Bone Bottom, move right until you arrive at the entrance to the Marrow. Don’t go inside; instead, jump and climb on the ledge above the entrance and then jump to the platform on the left. You will see a blue mushroom on the ground. Interact with it to get the first Mister Mushroom.
Mister Mushroom #3 | Far Fields
Travel to the Weavenest Cindril Bench located southeast of Far Fields (While you are here, you may want to check the Weavenest Cindril puzzle as well, it opens up a previously inaccessible area). Take the route left of the Bench. After crossing the water, you will find mushrooms on the ground amongst the plants. Jump on the tiny platform above the Mushroom, and it will take you to the spot with the Mister Mushroom.
Mister Mushroom #4 | Greymoor
Clue: Up towers spinning, near the surgeon spurned
You have to get to the Halfway Home Bench in Greymoor. The Mister Mushroom spot is located above the Windmills, on the route to Wisp Thicket. Now make your way to the northwest section of the area; the jumping can be a bit tricky. Once you climb up the wooden wall at the corner, move left and jump down the hole, and you will find the Mister Mushroom.
Mister Mushroom #5 | The Slab
Clue: Cage of one who raged against the silken lie
Just get to the First Sinner boss fight section in the Slab, and you will find the Mister Mushroom on the left, beside the cell. The cell for the First Sinner fight is located southeast of the Slab area. Before you enter the cell, just on the left, you will find the Mushroom on the ground.
Mister Mushroom #6| Mount Fay
Clue: Fell heart of frost, who soars on high
Get to the Bench on the top of Mount Fay. Now get out of the room and climb up, and you will find Mister Mushroom with a giant bird.
Mister Mushroom #7| The Cradle
Clue: Past cradle’s peak, last test of fitness
Get to the top of the Cradle area, and then on the right side, and then use the Clawline ability to fly up through the hidden route. Enter the cave on the left to find the last Mister Mushroom.
Talking to him will end the Passing of the Age Wish, and you will receive an Achievement: Passing of the Age: Grant the Herald’s Wish in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
