You take the role of a Stalker while navigating the mutant-filled terrains of Heart of Chornobyl, and you will need to overcome several challenges during your exploration. The game does help by giving you quests that you can to learn more about the lore of Stalker 2, collect items, and sharpen up your gameplay.
As you explore the Electric Field, you will run into another lone Stalker called Vova Amalgam. He calls out for help as he is stranded in a field of electric anomalies, and as a fellow Stalker, this just feels to be the right thing to do, especially since you know your way around the regions by now. But if you are confused about how to rescue him, then we have put up this guide to help you out on exactly that.
Vova Amalgam Location In Stalker 2
You will find Vova Amalgam in the Electric Field, on the eastern side of Garbage. If you manage to get here to find the Electric Field Safe Stash, then you are not too far behind in locating Vova. After you have collected the loot from the safe, head outside to hear a distress call from him. Look northwest to find the lost Stalker stranded on top of a wooden ramp, and surrounded by electric anomalies.
Talk To Vova Amalgam
You need to navigate towards Vova by using bolts to trigger the anomalies. Get on the ramp and talk to him to learn what he has to say. He will ask your help in rescuing him, and you can inquire why he can’t do this himself. Vova will talk about a teacher who wants him to hone his sense of navigating through anomalies, so this might be a sort of test for him to see if he can survive. He will also tell you that he left his bolts at camp while in a hurry to find an artifact within the Electric Field, hence how he ended up here.
Save Vova Amalgam In Stalker 2
You can ask him to follow you so you two can navigate to safety, or tell him to stay there to cancel the quest. If you choose to rescue him, you should keep in mind that if Vova gets electrocuted by the anomalies, he will be dead, and you will fail the mission. Luckily, you don’t have to walk too far, as you just need to bypass the anomalies surrounding him.
Head east from the ramp towards the building you were in previously, then walk on the concrete sidewalk around the building. Use bolts to dispel any anomalies in your path, then make your way southwest toward the broken tractor. You need to keep looking back to see whether Vova is following you. Walk slowly so he can catch up, then use the bolts whenever necessary.
After walking a short distance, you will be clear of the anomalies, and Vova will thank you. You can see him off, or learn more about his teacher. You can also claim a reward from him, and he will offer to either give you credits or an artifact. If you pick the artifact, you get the Rat King Artifact from him.
Vova Amalgam Bug
This mission is somewhat bugged, as sometimes the conversation with Vova will not trigger when you meet him the first time. Even if you do end up talking to him and agree to help him, he might not follow you. The only thing you can do to bypass the bug is to reload a previous save and restart the mission. You also need to walk up the ramp where he is standing to talk to him, rather than talking to him from the ground to trigger the conversation.
