Shift Up – the company behind Stellar Blade is expecting a high sale rate when the game finally makes a transition to PC. The company is confident of selling more copies of the game on PC compared to PlayStation 5. The projection of a high number comes from PC market share and demand for single-player action games in the Asia market.

    • Stellar Blade will be optimized to run well on PC.
    • Stellar Blade will be compatible with Steam Deck or Asus ROG Ally.
    • Modding Support, as previous Sony PC released titles has received a lot of support from the modding community.
    • The company is planning to release more content updates and patches to the game.

Shift Up analyzed all the major PlayStation releases on PC, to ensure the PC version of Stellar Blade doesn’t fail at bringing the optimal experience to PC players. Stellar Blade on PC plans to have strong optimization, more content & updates, and other meaningful changes making it one of the best ways to experience the game.

“In the AAA game market, PC devices have a higher market share than consoles, so we expect the performance of the PC version to exceed that of the console version,”

“Optimization, enhancing user convenience, adding supplementary content, and tailored marketing strategies unique to Shift Up”.

Steller Blade despite being a single-player game, has received the Nier Update to keep the game fresh for the fans. According to the Game World Observer, royalties from the game have reached $43.2 million. While the sales from Q3 are down from Q2, the PC release and the new updates have the potential to bring in a newer audience to the game.

The PS5 release of Stellar Blade was received quite well by critics and gamers alike – it sits at a Generally Favorable status with a Critic Score of 81 and a User Score of 9.2 on Metacritic.
