Hello Games dropped a quality hotfix for No Man’s Sky after their last update. The new patch, Update 5.56, is now active on PC, and it cleans out many bugs, glitches, and mission-related problems post-Worlds Part 2 expansion. Here is the changelog for all the fixes contained in the latest update.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue that could cause the Pillar of Titan reward to appear as already claimed after transferring back to the main save after completing the Titan Expedition.
- Fixed an issue that prevented packaged technology from being deployed into the Colossus.
- Fixed an issue in the Titan Expedition where building the floating variant of the Nautilon Chamber would not allow missions to progress.
- Fixed an issue that could cause missions in the Titan Expedition to fail to detect Waterworlds correctly.
- Fixed a crash affecting players playing the PlayStation 4 version of No Man’s Sky on PlayStation 5.
The team behind Hello Games did mention that they are listening to their player base, as the latest update 5.56 addresses most of the concerns players shared online.

The update is currently only live on Steam, no accurate dates were presented to release the update on other platforms. But Hello Games did promise to bring the patch 5.56 ‘as soon as possible, on all the other available gaming platforms.
Hello Games is not slowing down on delivering quality updates to make No Man’s Sky a more bug-free experience. The dedication shows as the game received its World Part II update at the start of the year, hailed by critics and fans as bringing the game to a whole new level.
