The first objective in the Networking story quest in Grounded 2 is to “Find a Way to the Statue”. If you follow the route to the statue, it will eventually take you to the Network Center located at the top of the location. You will encounter plenty of enemies and branching paths on your way to the center. In this guide, we will explore the best way to get to the Network Center in Grounded 2.
Find a Way to the Statue
Ride your Ant Buggy to the eastern side of the map to get to the statue location. The statue location can be found east of the Ceremony and Grass Games. Here, you will find Statue: Northern Ascent and Statue: Southern Ascent, both of which have a cement tunnel that leads you inside.
- For this guide, we will choose the Statue: Southern Ascent. Head to the location marked on the map above, and you will discover the Statue: Southern Ascent cement tunnel.
- Enter the tunnel and proceed straight, then turn right. You will come across a locked door at the end of the route.
- If you look at the wall on the left, you will find Dead Root, which you can crunch with your Ant Buggy. The place here will be pitch dark, so equip the torch to get a better sense of direction.
Follow the route, and it will take you to another Dark Root spot. Again, crunch the roots, and you will be outside a Rock Maze.

Figuring Out Rock Maze
While the maze might look intimidating, the route here is very simple. Stick to the left route and you will easily find your way out of the maze.
- From the starting location of the Rock Maze, turn left and keep following the narrow linear route. You will eventually reach an open area to your right with a large red ball with holes in it and a green hose.
- Follow the green hose and you will find a Dead Root to your left guarded by a crab. Defeat the crab, crunch the Dead Root to get inside.
Way to the Network Center
Now climb on the tree branches and follow the linear route until you get a Statue Checkpoint. Here you get to a fork in the road, the left branch leads to a door with a green light, and the right branch goes under the location. Take the branch on the right to continue.
- The branch will take you to the Dead Root wall on the left. Break it and follow the linear route, and you will eventually come across another Dead Root. Break the Dead Root to get an open area.
- Here you will see a Red Ribbon on the ground, just simply follow the red ribbon to its end. And you will reach another fork in the road, here, just take the tree branch on the right.
- Follow the route, and you will eventually spot a spider crawling on its web, blocking your path. Just pass the spider and continue along the tree branch until you see an orange-colored dried leaf.
- Stand on the dried leaf and jump onto the platform above. Once you make it to the upper floor, you will see the ladder at a distance between the two tracks.
Climb the ladder, and it will take you to the Network Center.
