The early access for Hades II is off to a flying start as expected; with more than 88000 players active as per Steam data – and all this within a day of the early access release.
The all-time peak for Hades was 37K at the time of its release 4 years ago – and even that is up for grabs as the 24-hour peak for that game stands close to this number at 32K. Clearly, the players can’t seem to have enough of the early access and are probably going back to the first game to brush up on some moves – the game had fantastic but difficult combat.
The sequel will have Melinoe – the Princess of the Underworld as the protagonist with new locations , challenges and upgrades; and is easily one of the most anticipated games for the year; thanks to the brilliantly designed and extremely well received Hades – which currently sits at a score of 93 on Metacritic that launched first on Epic Games Store and then on Steam in Sep 2020.
