Prepare for brand new missions, Challenges, and races heading to GTA 5 with the new update. The PC version of GTA 5 is getting all the updates that were previously available on PS5 and Xbox. The recent update will have no cost attached to it, any one who owns the GTA 5 title on PC will freely receive all the latest updates upon its release.
- The major change coming to the PC version of GTA 5 will be the GTA + online premium membership service. Becoming part of the subscription service will get you GTA $500,000 in your Maze Bank account every month and a 15% discount on Shark Cards.
- On the Technical Side of the update, players will receive more Ray tracing options; GTA 5 will be compatible with AMD FSR 1 and 3 and the Latest Nvidia DLSS 3.
- The new update will show more support for resolutions, smoother frame rates, and higher aspect ratios.
- Support for DualSense Controller and Dolby Atmos audio will become available.
- Users will receive new vehicles and upgrades and a refreshed landing page.
- Players can take part in Ambient Animal’s side quest across San Andreas.
Don’t worry about your game’s progress, whether from Story or Online mode, both data will carry over to the new update without any hassle. The update will also bring the recent changes made to the game, such as Kernel-based Anti-Cheat protections and Proactive Voice Chat Moderation.

- Sports Classic: Benefactor Stirling GT, Grotti Turismo Classic
- Muscle: Bravado Buffalo EVX, Declasse Vigero ZX, Declasse Vigero ZX Convertible
- Coupe: Annis Euros X32, Übermacht Sentinel XS
- Off-Road: Maibatsu MonstroCiti, Vapid Firebolt ASP

Rockstar had this to say about the older version of GTA 5:
“Support for the previous version of GTAV will continue, allowing anyone whose hardware does not currently meet the minimum requirements of the new upgrade to keep playing. This also ensures that support for FiveM will continue uninterrupted while we work to extend support for it on the upgraded version.”
But Rockstar is planning to add the original version of GTA online on PC as a “separate instance.” If you are running the older version, you will not be able to join the session of anyone who is running an upgraded version of GTA 5. You can only connect to players running the same version of GTA 5 as you, or you will be left out. Rockstar further stated:
“Both versions will be available to everyone who upgrades — and first-time purchasers will get access to both versions as well.“
Support for new optimization options, vehicles, and missions; finally opening the doors for PC players to join GTA + will bring in more players to the game who were feeling left out from the features tied to the console version.
