The Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition: As the name indicates, is the fully updated version of the game that also includes the well-received Frozen Wilds addition. The first entry in the series that eventually had the bigger and more expansive Horizon Forbidden West in 2022, you can treat the first one as a more compact and tighter version that introduces a captivating world and a great protagonist.

Kingdoms of Amalur- Re-Reckoning: This one has a lot of nostalgia attached, as the game that originally came out in 2012 was pretty ahead of its time, featured some great combat and weapons. While the remastered version does add a coat of paint to the original, the gameplay and several other mechanics do show their age, unfortunately. Still, if you don’t mind a bit of jank – this is a game worth adding to your library.
Darksiders series: The Darksiders series, while it has had its ups and downs, does, at an overall level, provide good gameplay and value. I would especially recommend to add the Deathinitive edition for the 2nd game, and Genesis as two games worth playing from this franchise.
Of course, FF 7 would also have been an easy recommend if not for the stellar trilogy remake by Square Enix.
