In World of Warcraft: The War Within, there is a new S.C.R.A.P Heaps event where you can just pick up random scraps in Undermine. These mini-events spawn randomly, and you can collect specific scraps from the piles to turn them in and collect new and rare items. How To Do S.C.R.A.P Heaps In WoW
Once you open up the new Undermine section, you will notice a handful of S.C.R.A.P events happening around. You can select any of these events and make your way over there. Speak to the NPC to start the scavenging process. There will be a pile of scrap in the area, and you, alongside other players, need to dig through it and collect 500 scraps within 2 minutes.
You will also notice random green or blue circles appearing on the floor, and the only ones you need to pay attention to are the blue ones as these offer buffs. Dodge the green circles and bombs while killing enemies around to reach your target. If you complete the objective before the timer runs out, you will receive a treasure chest with some rare loot.

How to Get Mounts from S.C.R.A.P Heaps
There are two unique mounts to claim while completing these S.C.R.A.P events, and they are the Personalized Goblin S.C.R.A.Pper and Salvaged Goblin Gazillionaire’s Flying Machine. The method to get each of these mounts is different, so let’s break down the process.
- First, it is best to increase your reputation with the Cartels of Undermine, as you will receive several perks.
- At rank 14, you get the Kaja-Cola Collector I, which will increase your chances of finding Vintage Kaja-Cola bottles while going through S.C.R.A.P.
- Once you have this perk unlocked, head over to any S.C.R.A.P event and start digging to collect Kaja-Cola bottles.
- You can then take these bottles to the scrap Undermine Sanitation vendor at the far west side of the map, in Hovel Hill.
- Purchase the Sifted Pile of Scrap using 333 Kaja Cola bottles and open them from your inventory.
- You can unlock the Personalized Goblin S.C.R.A.Pper through a random chance while unlocking all the Sifted Piles of Scrap.
- As for the Salvaged Goblin Gazillionaire’s Flying Machine, while sifting through the S.C.R.A.P heaps, you have a random chance to find a mini boss that will appear after completing your scavenging goal.
- This boss will appear once per day, so you need to participate in as many S.C.R.A.P Heap events as possible for this boss to spawn.
- Also, the chance of getting the mount is totally random, so you might have to log in every day and defeat the boss to get it.
