The War Within’s 11.2.0. Patch update for World of Warcraft now involves a handful of new enemies and boss encounters. But the Heka’tamos is one of those enemies you won’t encounter in the wild like a normal enemy. Rather, you need to follow a particular summoning ritual and gather the required materials to find this enemy. This guide will show you how to summon Heka’tamos in WoW.
Summoning Heka’tamos in WoW
Heka’tamos is the newest storm elemental enemy added to the latest patch update, and it mostly deals electric and storm damage on its targets. To locate this enemy, head over to the Oasis within the new zone, K’aresh. Once here, follow the star marker on the map to find a brazier at (75.40, 30.34), right in the middle of the water.
To summon Heka’tamos, you need to collect one each of certain materials, namely a Windcatcher, Dewminder, Earthy Succulent, and a Spectral Lantern. These items are located all around the Oasis, but, if you are having a hard time, we have provided the exact waypoint coordinates to find each material below.
- Windcatcher: 75.55, 33.40
- Dewminder: 72.72, 34.71
- Earthy Succulent: 71.78, 34.49
- Spectral Lantern: 72.58, 28.44
Do note that there is a 3 minute timer, where you are required to collect all the materials and head back to the brazier within the time frame. After collecting the required materials, head back to the brazier and interact with it. This will summon Heka’tamos right behind you, ready for battle. Defeating it will get you one step closer to obtaining the Remnants of a Shattered World achievement, and the following drops:
- Weathered Ethereal Crest
- Valorstones
- The K’aresh Trust Commendation
- K’aresh Dust/ Flickering Primeval Element
- Heka’Tarnos, Bringer of Discord Companion Ability
