The Power Rod in ARC Raiders is an epic item required to complete the Tribute to Toledo quest. While the quest itself may appear simple, obtaining the Power Rod is where the real challenge lies. There are several ways to get your hands on this, and we have put up details for all of these below.You can either recycle other items, craft the item, or find it hidden in a specific location. Below, we’ll walk you through both methods step by step.
Power Rod Location in ARC Raiders
You can get the Power Rod as a confirmed drop on recycling the Snap Hook. There is also a chance to get this item by scavenging the Power Generation Complex in Dam Battlegrounds or in the Spaceport area. Another method is to craft the Power Rod at a Refiner 3 Workshop.
Let’s look at each of these one-by-one.
Method #1: Using Snap Hook
You can get a Power Rod by recycling a Snap Hook. During the Lost in Transmission quest, you’ll get this legendary item. The Snap Hook can also be obtained from the Harvester event. If you hold on to Snap Hook, it’ll come in handy during the Tribute to Toledo quest.
Find the Snap Hook in your stash and click on it to recycle. You’ll gain a Power Rod and three Ropes from it. But if you have sold your Snap Hook, the next option is to scavenge the Dam Battlegrounds or the Spaceport map.
Method #2: Scavenging Dam Battlegrounds Map
Head over to Power Generation Complex, climb on top of the metal bridge and take two right turns to find Power Generators on the wall. Breach them to get a Power Rod, possibly. If you do not get a Power Rod there, breach other boxes around the area, as it may be hidden there.
If you have an extra Power Rod with you, you can also open a locked door right next to the Power Generators to get some good quality loot. But do note that it’ll use one of your Power Rods, so try to save one for the Tribute to Toledo quest.
If luck is not in your favor and you cannot find the item in the Dam Battlegrounds map, there is a location in the Spaceport map where you can possibly find it.
Method #3: Scavenging Spaceport Map
Head over to the underground tunnel in the Spaceport map, as shown in the blue circle, and scavenge the Power Generators on the wall to possibly gain a Power Rod. You might have to spend your time opening every possible Power Generator to get a Power Rod. But if you want to save some time, you can choose to craft it.
Method #4: Crafting a Power Rod
You can get a Power Rod by crafting two Advanced Electrical Components with two ARC Circuitry in a Refiner 3 Workshop. Do note that you’ll need to have a high-level Workbench to carry out this task.
An Advanced Electrical Component can be crafted by combining three Wires with two Electrical Components in a Refiner 2 Workshop. Wires can be found in abundance when scavenging an Electrical or Technological area. Electrical Components are an uncommon item, but can be found if you explore locations.
On the other hand, ARC Circuitry can be crafted by combining six ARC Alloys in a Refiner 3 Workshop. ARC Alloys are a common item that you can find on destroyed ARCs. So if you have an abundance of items, crafting a Power Rod will be an easy task for you.
