Dying Light: The Beast rewards exploration with pretty useful tips that make surviving and destroying zombie hordes that much easier and fun. Charms in Dying Light: The Beast add just that extra punch to the type of gameplay that you prefer, giving either powerful boosts to your stats or damage. One of these Charms that you should give a look into is the Volatile Trophy Charm, and here, in this guide, we have put up the exact location to pick this up, and the stat boosts that come along with it.
How To Get The Volatile Trophy Charm In Dying Light: The Beast
The Volatile Trophy Charm is located in a dilapidated building exactly east of the Memorial Hill of Heroes. When you enter the building, take a left, and from the living room, go into the narrow passageway with the bookshelf. The next room straight ahead has a note and a bugged-out key that you currently cannot take.
Pick up the note lying next to the key, which mentions that the keys have been kept at the reception, and that there is a spare key here. Ideally, we should have been able to take the key, and the next steps would have been much simpler.
Turn back, and past the living room, to the stairs that take you to the first floor. Here, take care of all the zombies, and then you will see a door that ideally you should have been able to open, had the key not been bugged. No matter, we have a solution for this.
Stand exactly at the place indicated in the image above, and press, or rather, spam the Jump button multiple times. The wall in front of you will glitch, and quickly press the Take button to add the Volatile Trophy Charm to your inventory!
The Volatile Trophy Charm has the useful perk of an additional 2% damage from melee weapons, so add that to your favorite melee weapon to cause even more damage and mayhem to the zombie hordes. Hopefully, Techland will address this bug in future updates, but till then, we have our own glitch to make use of and get the Volatile Trophy Charm in Dying Light: The Beast.
