Starsand Island – How to Make Bigger Storage Boxes

Like any life and farming sim, you need a lot of storage boxes in Starsand Island. The standard storage box only has 18 slots for you to put items in, so it’s going to fill up quickly with the number of different materials and crafts that exist in the game. That’s why you’ll want to move up to the second and third tier boxes as soon as you can.

The standard storage box only requires some Softwood to craft. However, you can get the blueprints for the better versions of this item without too much trouble, and crafting them just requires some processing to be done beforehand, such as making the wood into planks instead of just straight logs.

Once you reach Apprentice Crafter, you can get the blueprint for Storage Box II from Zerine’s General Store, which gives you 36 slots of space. To craft this, you’ll need 6 Softwood Planks and 3 Copper Sheets at the worktable.

Then, you can buy the blueprint for Storage Box III when you reach the next level, Junior Crafter, from Zerine’s General Store, which gives you 66 slots of space. To craft this, you’ll need 5 Hardwood Planks and 3 Iron Sheets at the worktable.

You’ll need to work on leveling up your crafter apprenticeship with Zerine to get to the Apprentice and Junior Crafter levels.

    Starsand Island – Realm Boxes

There’s another storage option that’s quite interesting as you level your crafting to the Intermediate Crafter rank, and that’s the Realm Box. The blueprint is a bit pricey compared to other crafts, as it’ll cost you 7,500 at Zerine’s General Store.

To craft the Realm Box, you need 5 Alloy, 5 Starflare Core, 3 Spirit Cube, and 6 Hardwood Plank. Once you have it, it essentially acts as a way to access all of your storage boxes at once through your inventory when you have the Realm Box in it.

Unfortunately, the materials for the Realm Box are ones that you won’t be able to get until you’re closer to the mid-game. This is because you’ll need upgraded workstations and tools like the Impact Hammer to mine raw resources in Moonlit Forest. Therefore, you should prioritize Storage Box II and III blueprints, and work on the Realm Box later in Starsand Island.
