While exploring the Chemical Plant region of the Chornobyl exclusion zone in Stalker 2, you will eventually meet Doctorant Shcherba. He will ask you for some help collecting electronic collars from locations scattered all around the zone. Here is how you can find all 4 electronic collars for Shcherba in Stalker 2.
How To Find All 4 Electronic Collars For Shcherba In Stalker 2
The four electronic collars you need to retrieve for Shcrherba in Stalker 2 are each found in the Red Forest, Malachite, Wild Island, and Zaton regions. While there will be an objective marker pointing you to each one of them, getting them can sometimes be more complicated than just reaching the location and looting the collar.
Here is how you can get all 4 electronic collars from each of the locations in Stalker 2:
- Red Forest: Head to the Containers POI on the west side of the region. You will have to fight off the soldiers here first, then walk around the warehouse till you find crates to jump on. Make your way inside and you will encounter a dangerous huge mutant here that has an electronic collar. Defeat the mutant then search its body to find the Electric Collar.
- Malachite: Make your way to the north side of the Malachite region and find the Brain Scorcher location to get the electronic collar. Soldiers will be present in this area and they will also already be in possession of the electronic collars. You can either talk it out with them and get the electronic collar by paying 1500 coupons or simply take them out and then loot the electronic collar.
- Wild Island: This electric collar in Stalker 2 can be found in the Boathouse at the Wild Island. Similar to the one in Red Forest, this will also require you to kill a mutant and then loot the electronic collar off its body. You will find some men standing outside a building waiting for the mutant to come out. This will be a dog-like creature that can make clones of itself so be careful and shoot the real one to deal damage.
- Zaton: For this one, head to the northeast corner of Zaton at the Hydrodynamics Lab. Enter into the main building through the windows and fight the zombie soldiers around. If you can already tell, the zombies are an indication of a Psi Mutant. Find and defeat this Psi Mutant and collect the electronic collar from its body, be careful of the Psi attacks though, and make sure you use Psi blockers if you have them.
Keep in mind that some players have reported this quest to be bugged at times. You may already find the soldiers in Malachite dead or one of the mutants to be dead. Some players don’t get the quest markers of the locations, and the list goes on. So make sure you have a save file before this quest so that getting all 4 electronic collars for Shcherba in Stalker 2 doesn’t become an impossible task.
