Each Chapter in South of Midnight offers tons of secret collectables, and locating them all will lead you to an achievement. Some of these collectables can be easily missed, so you need to look long and hard to find them all. There are a handful of Readables, Floofs, and Life Filaments to find within each chapter, and you might have to start your search as early as Chapter 1 itself. All Chapter 1 Collectible Locations In South of Midnight
There are 3 Readables and 1 Magic Object collectible to find within the chapter, and we will list out all the locations below.
Readable Location #1 – Bunny’s Note to Lily
There is a dream sequence at the start, after which you get the Escape the Mansion objective once the cutscene ends. Explore the bedroom and interact with the dresser between the bookshelves to find the note to Lily.
Readable Location #2 – Bunny’s Desk Entry
From your previous location, escape through the balcony and head left, then hang on to the pipes and wooden poles to traverse to the right side. Once you reach the platform, keep heading right to find more wooden poles to use. Make your way to the open window at the next platform which leads to the office. Enter it to get the Find A Way Out Of The Office objective. Investigate the office desk to find Bunny’s Desk Entry.
Readable Location #3 – Bunny’s Lounge Chair Entry
This collectible is found within the same room where you picked up Bunny’s Desk Entry. Just turn around and investigate the lounge couch in the office to find the note.
Collectible Location – Magic Object: Hooks
The door to get out of the office is locked, so you might have to find another way out. Investigate the bookshelf to find an item that will help you uncover a secret passage. There is a flight of stairs that leads up to the attic in the mansion. Follow the voices upstairs to find a locked chest containing the Hooks magic object. You will get to this location as part of the main story, so don’t forget to look around to find the chest.
