    Skate Story: Oblivious Achievement Guide

At last, you are in the final knockings of Skate Story, and you’ll be tasked with finding meaning in The Void. A task that is easier said than done if you’re not all that perceptive.

The Oblivious achievement is yet another easy but missable trophy in Skate Story, like the Devil’s Symmetry or the Philoskater.

To boil it all down, and in keeping with Skate Story’s unapologetically weird tone, all you need to do is find a Rubber Duck. But, where is that duck? To put it plainly, it’s not at the pond, that’s for sure.

How to Unlock the Oblivious Achievement in Skate Story

In Chapter 8, you will go through a series of black portals. At first, you don’t have your skateboard. But once you’ve got it back, don’t go straight into the portal. Instead, you have to go to the right side of the map.

In the right section of this area, you will find a rubber duck. Interacting with it will indicate you need a 9,999 score. But in reality, all you have to do is perform a simple trick and slam your skateboard near it.

Doing this simple task will unlock the Oblivious achievement. The reason behind this trophy’s description makes sense when you get it:

The only way to find meaning in the Void is to enjoy simple and little things. Things like a rubber duck.

Skate Story has been developed by Sam Eng and published by Devolver Digital for PC, PS5, Switch 2 on Dec 8, 2025. The game was received well by everyone and currently sits at a Generally Favorable status with a score of 87 on Metacritic.

I am the jack of all trades, and master of none. I love everything about games, but stories have a special place in my heart. Especially, anything related to Disco Elysium.
