Out of the multitude of tough puzzles you need to solve in Silent Hill f, the Memories Puzzle, which requires Shu’s Prized Possessions, might be one of the easiest to solve. There’s no solving per se; you only need to collect Shu’s Possessions in the Worship Hall, whose number depends on the game’s difficulty, and then place them on a stand. Here’s how you can find all Shu’s Prized Possessions and solve the Memories Puzzle in Silent Hill f.
How to Solve the Memories Puzzle in Silent Hill f

To solve the Memories Puzzle, you need to collect three Shu’s Prized Possessions, depending on the difficulty you’re playing on, then place them on a stand in Silent Hill f. This puzzle is located at the end of the Worship Hall to the north. The solutions to this puzzle will change according to the difficulty you’re on. One difficulty might need only a single Shu’s Possession, while another will require all three. Here are the solutions to the Memories Puzzle, according to the difficulty levels in Silent Hill f:
Silent Hill f Difficulty | Memories Puzzle Solution |
Story | Required Shu’s Possession: Brainiac Comic |

Lost in the Fog (NG+: UFO Ending Requirement) | Required Shu’s Possessions: Brainiac Comic, Young Hinako Portrait & The Raygun |
Now, let’s take a look at where to find all three Shu’s Prized Possessions to help you become prepared for every difficulty in the game.
Shu’s Prized Possession #1: Brainiac Comic

The first Shu’s Possession, the Brainiac Comic, is located in the northeast part of the Dark Shrine Worship Hall in Silent Hill f. Follow the route from the Memories Puzzle, according to the image shown above, and you’ll eventually come to the circular area through a door, where you’ll have to fight a mini-boss. After defeating the boss, turn back and go up the stairs to the right, which will take you to the upper section of the boss fight arena. There, you’ll find the first Shu’s Possession, the Brainiac Comic, lying on the balcony bar.
Shu’s Prized Possession #2: Young Hinako Portrait

The next Shu’s Possession, which is a Young Hinako Portrait, is located in the western part of the Dark Shrine Worship Hall in Silent Hill f. Follow the route as shown in the image above, and watch out for the enemy in front of you. However, you can use the enemy to your advantage and follow them through the dark corridors. You’ll eventually reach the Young Hinako Portrait at the end of a hallway with candles lighting up the area.
Shu’s Prized Possession #3: The Raygun

The final Shu’s Possession, the Raygun, is located in the same area as the Brainiac comic, at the mini-boss fight arena in Silent Hill f. For this one, you don’t need to take the stairs to the upper section of the arena. Enter the boss fight arena, then turn left, and you’ll find the Raygun on a brown cabinet. Pick it up to add the final Shu’s Prized Possession to your collection.
Once you’ve got all three Shu’s Prized Possessions, head to the Memories Puzzle location in the Dark Shrine Worship Hall, and place the Shu’s Prized Possessions on the stand to solve it. In return, you’ll unlock the gate to the west of Ebisugaoka Middle School, which will lead you to the mountain path, allowing you to progress the campaign.
