How To Fish In Palworld: Tides of Terraria

Equip the fishing rod in your weapon slot and bring along as much bait as possible. Next, use a flying Pal to hover over water till you can spot distinct shadows under the water’s surface. You can land nearby or use a water Pal to get to the shadows, then draw your fishing rod, equip the bait, then start fishing. Some waters contain higher leveled Pals that can be difficult for beginners to capture. Check out which area you are in and get better equipment if you want to capture them.
Check the markings on the water surface to identify what passives the fished Pals are likely to have. Each time you are successful in catching a Pal in your line, there will be a quick mini-game. If you fail the mini game, the Pal will be released, and you will have to try again. To play the mini game, just follow the steps below.

- Toss your lure and wait for a Pal to catch the bait.
- Once the Pal is on the line, start reeling them in and the mini game will pop up.
- For the mini game, you need to align the green bar within the area where the yellow fish marker is.
- Keep an eye on the small timer right on top of the bar. Once the circle around the timer has made a full round, the mini game will end.
- Depending on where the green bar is, if it is right where the yellow fish is, then you have successfully caught the Pal.
Best Fishing Spot

If you are looking for higher leveled water Pals to add to your collection, then fishing around the Isle of the Glacial Core is the best place to go. You can find this location at the northern section of the map, at -140, 637. You can find several Pals that will have unique Passives here, so it is worth taking your time to explore and capture these Pals out here.
How to Make Fishing Ponds in Palworld: Tides of Terraria

You can use Fishing Ponds to capture Large or Small scale water Pals at your base. Fishing Ponds can have Pals with the Handiwork skill assigned to them so they will passively collect all the Pals within the ponds. While interacting with the pond, you need to place some bait so your Pals can use them while fishing. There are two types of Fishing Ponds to unlock, and below are the materials required to craft them.
