Palworld 1.0 – Best Accessories and How to Get Them

Unless you’re chasing a specific hardcore high in your playthrough, accessories are essential parts of any Palworld setup.

These tools are available as drops from Alpha and Lucky pals, treasure chest finds (particularly in ruins and dungeons), and can also be crafted or purchased, provided you have the right materials or currency.

Since update 1.0 dropped for Palworld, the choice has gotten a little overwhelming, with close to 100 different accessories to pick from, some of which aren’t quite compatible and a few that are downright useless.

To help you avoid the fluff, here are the best accessories in Palworld 1.0, complete with their recipes or traders whenever applicable.

    Vanguard Charm

From the start of the game to the very end, the Vanguard Charm is a must-have due to its elemental protection.

Equipping it comes with a significant health boost (level 4) and also improves heat and cold resistance (both level 3), making you less vulnerable to both the elements and attacks.

    Vanguard Charm Crafting Requirements

    • 30 Polymer
    • 30 Bone
    • 30 Ancient Bone
    • 20 Flame Organ
    • 20 Ice Organ
    • Vanguard Charm Schematic

    Warsect Terra’s Belt

In the same vein as the Vanguard Charm, the Warsect Terra’s Belt is an accessory introduced in Palworld 1.0.

The Warsect Terra’s Belt is a defensive powerhouse that comes with a level 4 health increase, paired with an equivalent defense boost.

    Warsect Terra’s Belt Crafting Requirements

    • 20 Honey
    • 35 Paldium Fragment
    • 40 Refined Ingot
    • 30 Ancient Lava
    • Warsect Terra Schematic

    Air Walker EX

The law says that, to be a good game, one must be able to double jump in it. Thankfully, Palworld got around to that with patch 1.0, which introduced the Air Walker EX accessory.

The Air Walker EX boots let you double jump and dash mid-air, making it useful for evasion and to curb momentum when jumping from a mount.

    Air Walker EX Crafting Requirements

    • 60 Paldium Fragment
    • 45 Dark Fragment
    • 60 Nightstar Sand
    • 30 Coralum Ingot
    • 60 Ancient Bone
    • Air Walker EX Schematic

    Dogen Emblem

While the Warsect Terra Belt and Vanguard Charm can keep you alive for longer, that won’t matter much if you can’t deal your own killing blows.

The Dogen Emblem gives a level 4 attack boost to both you and your pal, turning even a mediocre team into great combat pals.

    Dogen Emblem Crafting Requirements

    • 30 Bone
    • 25 Paldium Fragment
    • 20 Refined Ingot
    • 30 Ancient Bone
    • Dogen Emblem Schematic

    Pal Tamer’s Glasses

The setup will feel familiar: you want to capture a pal, but end up killing it. The Pal Tamer’s Glasses are your way to get around that.

This snazzy pair of shades keeps you from ever sending an enemy’s HP below 1, allowing you to pull off a humane capture. Additionally, it reveals a pal’s health, attack, and defense stats. Did I mention it also works on human enemies?

    Pal Tamer’s Glasses Crafting Requirements

    • 20 Refined Ingot
    • 30 Paldium Fragment
    • 10 Ancient Civilization Parts
    • 15 Ancient Bark
    • Pal Tamer’s Glasses Schematic

    Attack Support Whistle

There’s beauty in simplicity, and no accessory in Palworld 1.0 embodies this better than the Attack Support Whistle.

Like most whistles in the game, all of which are extremely useful, the Attack Support Whistle is easy to come across in the wild and comes with a level 3 boost to your pal’s attack. Elemental whistles are situational, while this is a general-purpose tool to get through tough fights.

    Attack Support Whistle Crafting Requirements

    • 20 Ingot
    • 20 Horn
    • 25 Sulfur
    • 2 Ancient Civilization Parts
    • Attack Support Whistle Schematic

    Multiclimate Undershirt

Undershirts are a crucial part of Palworld’s survival loop, helping your character brave through extreme weather while remaining able to fight.

The Multiclimate Undershirt stands out above its peers because, as the name indicates, it’s a catch-all solution. It may not be as powerful as specialised ones, but this gives you level 1 heat and cold resistance, which is enough for most situations.

How to Get the Multiclimate Undershirt

You can’t craft the Multiclimate Undershirt, but it is available for sale from the Duneshelter Green Shirt Merchant for 30000 gold coins.

If you’re low on coins, the same trader also sells the Thermal Undershirt and a Heat Resistant Undershirt for 7000 coins each.

    Ring of Mercy

If you’re struggling to put together the Pal Tamer’s Glasses, you can get by with the Ring of Mercy. This accessory also has the Mercy Hit effect, meaning it won’t dip the target health pool below 1, making it useful for captures.

Just keep in mind that the effect is active with you and your mount, but active pals remain totally capable of killing, so tell them to hold back unless you want to arrange a burial.

You can purchase the Ring of Mercy from the Random Incident Wandering Merchant, the Fishermans Point Green Shirt Merchant, and the Duneshelter Green Shirt Merchant. All traders sell it for 30000 gold coins, but you can craft it instead.

    Ring of Mercy Crafting Requirements

    • Level 19
    • 2 Ancient Technology Points
    • 30 Ingot
    • 20 Paldium Fragment
    • 5 Ancient Civilization Parts

If you manage to craft the Ring of Mercy and save some cash, you’ll want to go looking for the Black Marketeer for rare and Contraband pals.
