With each update in Palia, you get to unlock new quests, new characters, and new areas to explore. In the 0.192 Patch, there are a handful of Treasure quests to complete, and puzzles to solve while doing these. In Prismbeard’s Lost Treasure quest, you have to solve the treasure map and figure out the exact location of the hidden treasure. This guide will explain how to complete the quest in Palia.
How To Complete Prismbeard’s Lost Treasure in Palia
This quest is part of the Adventure on the Horizon Discovery Quests given to you by Auni. After your exploration of Shipwreck Cave, you would have picked up a tattered treasure map. You can investigate the map by picking it out of your Quest Pouch. You will notice there is a marked location on the map, but the exact coordinates to the location are not given.
Dig Site Location #1
The region you need to go and find the hidden treasure is at Red Blossom Cave. The exact coordinates are marked above at D7. You will find a platform that you can jump up on, and this will lead you to a narrow passage within the cliff. At the end of the passage, you will meet Auni, who will ask you to dig up the mound on the ground with your hoe. Doing do will give you Pirate Map #2.
Dig Site Location #2
The second dig spot is at Jenesse Pass. Once you reach the canyon at I6, float all the way down to the bottom. You will spot a dirt mound at the bottom, use your hoe again to dig it up and collect Pirate Map #3.
Dig Site Location #3
This is the final map you will receive, and the location you need to go is Mitana Grove. Once you are here, head over to G3, which is on the western side across the stream. Follow the dirt path and keep an eye on the right side to find a strange drawing on the cliff wall. In front of the drawing is the dirt mound that you need to dig up and receive Prismbeard’s Riddle note.
Prismbeard’s Riddle Solution
You need to head back to Shipwreck Cave at D8 and visit the area where you had solved the Sliding Puzzle in an earlier quest. Once you walk up to the puzzle, you will get four different options. Select the option below to solve the riddle.
- A fitting reward for Prismbeard’s demise.
Even if you pick the wrong option, nothing will happen, and you can retry till you get it right. A final treasure chest will appear in front of you, and you can collect the Pirate’s Spyglass quest item from within. Speak to Auni and Nai’o after that, then equip the Pirate’s Spyglass.
A strange statue will appear in front of the sliding puzzle, walk over to it to get the Chat option. Follow through with the rest of the cutscene, and you can collect Prisimbeard’s Map for the True Treasure quest, thus completing this quest in the process.
