How to Get the Distant Memories Trophy in Nioh 3

The Distant Memories trophy is an achievement that can only be obtained after completing the Heian era. After defeating the main Crucible boss of Heian and being transported to Antiquity, you can officially start taking the steps to acquire the Distant Memories trophy.
There are two steps you need to complete to get the Distant Memories trophy in Nioh 3: rest in the Hot Spring during the Dark Roots mission in Antiquity and rest in the Hot Spring during the Apparition of Ryotan Temple mission in Warring States. It has to be done in that order, too.
Remember, you can replay these missions from the Battle Scroll at the shrine at any time to get the Distant Memories trophy.
Dark Roots Hot Spring Location

First, you need to rest in the Hot Spring during the Dark Roots mission in Antiquity. This Hot Spring can be found near the end of the mission, which is shown in the image attached.
While using this Hot Spring, Himiko will get frustrated with you for taking a rest in the midst of combat. Make sure to wait until Himiko finishes her dialogue before exiting the Hot Spring. Doing so allows the game to register that you have completed this step of the trophy.
Next, it’s time to rest in the Hot Spring during the Apparition of Ryotan Temple mission in Warring States. So, return to a Shrine and select the Battle Scroll option and select the mission to get started.
The Apparition of Ryotan Temple Hot Spring Location

The final step of the Distant Memories trophy is to rest in the Hot Spring, located during the Apparition of Ryotan Temple mission in Warring States. The image attached shows you the exact location of this Hot Spring.
Keep in mind that the Hot Spring is located behind a fake wall, and an opening can be revealed by using the Bow and Whistle emote, in that order. Once you use those emotes, the wall will turn into a monster that you have to defeat in combat.

On the other side of the wall is the Hot Spring that you need to rest in. Resting in the Hot Spring will have Li Naotora say, “Why does this feel so familiar?” After she says this, you will earn the Distant Memories trophy in Nioh 3.
