There are a few special items located across various sections of Dragon Quest 3 Remake, and it is up to you to find them all. If you manage to get your hands on these special gear and equipment, you can utilize their boosts to give your character and party some added benefits. While you can collect some rare and powerful gear in the later stages of the game, you can also collect some items during early game.
Two items that really stand out are the Meteorite Bracer and Golden Claw, and these items can be acquired a bit early in the game. In this guide we will detail how to get the Meteorite Bracer and Golden Claw in Dragon Quest 3 Remake.
Golden Claw & Meteorite Bracer In Dragon Quest 3 Remake
You can find both items in two nearby locations. The Meteorite Bracer can be acquired from Ibis, while you can get the Golden Claw from the Pyramid. Both locations are close by, and you can reach Ibis first while traveling southwest from Asham. After you reach the town of Ibis, you can travel north to reach the Pyramid.
Meteorite Bracer Location Dragon Quest 3 Remake
Once you reach Ibis, make your way to Ibis Castle to get the Meteorite Bracer. Before you get inside the castle, head to the left side of the building and enter the narrow passage. There is a flight of stairs that will take you down to the castle basement.
From the basement, take the next flight of stairs down and go through the passage in the middle of the area. There is another flight of stairs here, keep going down till you reach the last passage of the basement. At the end of the passage is a treasure chest containing the Meteorite Bracer.

Golden Claw Location Dragon Quest 3 Remake
Head north from Ibis to reach the Pyramid and complete your exploration of the area first. This will help you familiarize yourself with the area, making it easier for you to reach the Golden Claw quickly. From the Pyramid’s spawn point, head left just before the main Pyramid staircase and go down the stairs at the corner. Navigate the passages in B1 to reach the top left corner of the area.
There is a statue on the left side that you can interact with, and it will move to reveal a flight of stairs. Head down the stairs to reach floor B2, then follow the passage till you reach a sarcophagus. Open it to get the Golden Claw.
