As you venture forth towards the different regions available in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, you will encounter several challenges along the way. The puzzles start getting more complex, and you will have a harder time trying to solve them. Once you reach Gizeh for the Idol of Ra main story quest, you have to explore the Chamber of Resonance after you solve the Dream Stele.
There is another quick puzzle to solve within the chamber, but you need to figure out some key elements to the puzzle first. In this guide we have put up how to solve the Chamber of Resonance puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
How To Start The Chamber Of Resonance Puzzle
The Chamber of Resonance puzzle is in an underground area blocked by bricks; near the Great Pyramid of King Khufu. By following the main questline of The Idol of Ra, you will be led to a large tablet at the base of the Sphinx pyramid. Investigate the Dream Stele using the camera and search for clues about the various locations inscribed on the tablet. Once you have all four locations down, you will get a marked location for the symbol of the Great Pyramid of King Khufu. Check your map to find the location, then make your way over to the large pyramid in the distance.
You will find an encampment nearby, pick up the hammer off the table and investigate the hole in the ground near the pyramid. The area is blocked with bricks, so use the hammer to destroy it and create an entryway. Head down the slope and enter the doorway on the left to continue down further. You will reach an area that is filled with fallen bricks, crawl under them to reach the Chamber of Resonance.
How To Solve The Chamber Of Resonance Puzzle
There are three statues in the middle of the room, and four stone tablets with symbols inscribed on them hanging all across the walls. Take out your camera and investigate the tablets with it. A short cutscene will play out where Indy will investigate the tablets using Dr. Lombardi’s notes. It will turn out that the symbols on the tiles are, in fact, words in one of the most ancient languages. So, we now have two tasks:
- Take photographs of each of the tiles – as you keep taking photos, Indy will speak out the English translation of that word
- Arrange the tiles (words) in the correct order in the altar in front of the middle statue.
Now, as you start taking photos, you will notice that two tablets are missing, while one of the tablets has a piece missing. There is a small hole at the bottom of the left side wall. Crawl into the space to find the fifth and sixth tablets. Take pictures of them both and keep exploring the passage. At the end of the passage is the missing tablet piece. There is a weapon nearby, pick that up and break the wall where the tablet was. This will lead you back to the main puzzle room. Take the missing piece and use it to restore the broken tablet.
So now, we have all the 6 tablets. Approach the altar in front of the statue in the middle and place all the photos. The words (and the photos) now need to be arranged into this sentence “Heed the Lord’s Oath. Protect the secret of the Name”. With that, the puzzle is solved!
After reading the line, another short cutscene will play out and you can continue trying to solve the mysteries beyond the region.
