Golden Scapegoat Puzzles in Honkai Star Rail
The goal of each puzzle is to light a brazier at the end. The brazier will typically be placed on the lower floor, so you must make your way down to the bottom floor by pressing the right button with your past self, another piece that can help you press the buttons. We have listed out the directional keys for each puzzle and other inputs to help you get to the end of the puzzle easily.
#1. Golden Scrapegoat puzzle
Location: Amphoreus, Floor 1
You must use the Aurous Pool Space Anchor located in F1 and head right to spot the first scapegoat.
Puzzle Solution:
Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right
On your final Right move, you will fall on the floor below. Here, move two steps left to press the golden button on the floor. When your past self appears, our goal is to make that piece move to the blue button on the floor below.
You must move right and left (repeatedly) until your past dark part steps on the blue button on the lower floor. Once both buttons are pressed, the blue shield will reveal the spot where you can light the brazier.

#2. Golden Scrapegoat puzzle
Location: Amphoreus, Floor 2
Use the Nightspire BoneMech Space Anchor, take the elevator, head down the stairs on the left, and then turn left and right to get to the scapegoat puzzle spot.
Puzzle Solution:
Left, Left, Up, Left, Right, Left
After your last step, you will be standing on the golden button on the floor next to the ladder. Your past self will now appear at the door. Here, quickly step up the ladder. Now move to the Right x3 until you are at the end, this will make the past self stand on the golden button. This will open up the golden barricade next to you, drop down, and light the brazier on your right.

#3. Golden Scrapegoat puzzle
Location: Amphoreus, Floor 4
Get to the point shown on the map to start the puzzle. You have to use the Bastion Depth Space Anchor to get to the puzzle spot.
Puzzle Solutions:
Left, Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Right
- Once your past self spawns at the door, move to the right once to stand on the blue barrier. Now move to the left, until the past self steps on the blue button for the second time.
- This will help you drop down to the lower floor. Here, stand on the blue button to your left, then another left, then right. It will place the past self on the golden button, now you can drop down to the lower floor.
- Now just move to your left, and you will find your way to the brazier on the bottom floor.
