How To Unlock Dual Katanas In Ghost of Yotei

The earliest weapons that Atsu can get in Ghost of Yotei are the Dual Katanas. If one Katana isn’t enough, wait till you learn how to use two of them. Like most weapons, there is a lengthy questline to complete as a part of it, but the challenge is well worth it as you get to unlock the most OP early game weapon. This guide will detail how to get the dual katanas in Ghost of Yotei.

How to Get the Dual Katanas in Ghost of Yotei

You need to complete the Way of Dual Katana main story quest to get the Dual Katanas at the end. After completing the prologue, you get to choose between completing the Way of the Dual Katana or the Old Inn quests. Picking the former will have you seek out the location of the Dual Katana Master’s home near Mount Yotei.

Check your map for the icon of two Katanas just west of your Home and make your way over there. Once you locate Hanbei, the Katana Master, follow his instructions and finish up all his tasks. Nearing the end of the quest, you get to put everything you have learnt to the test by participating in battle.

Learning the commands during the questline will make it easier to handle the dual katana later on, so focus on trying to grasp the mechanics of the weapon. Also, you get glimpses of Atsu’s past while trying to complete these challenges. At the very end of the quest, Hanbei will reward you with the Dual Katanas to help you out during the starting stages of the game.
