How To Start Nighthaven in New World: Aeternum

New World Aeternum’s new Nighthaven update includes a whole new zone, a new storyline, and new POIs. Accessing the new region isn’t as simple as updating the game, as you need to go through a particular questline to unlock Nighthaven. Also, there seems to be a small bug to start the new regional quest, so keep reading below to know how to start the new Nighthaven update in New World Aeternum.

Go to the Admiral’s Shrine fast travel point in Gorgon’s Landing, Cutlass Keys, and pick up the new Nighthaven questline from the docks. Get your character to level 70 before proceeding. Complete the main story quests, especially the quest called Into Sunset, which gives you the introduction to a unique NPC. After that, head to the Aegis at the docks of Gorgon’s Landing to begin the new Nighthaven main story quest.

Once you reach the docks, you will have noticed a new NPC called Morgaine, and speaking to her will unlock the new main story quest called Troubling Theft. The quest is pretty simple, and picking it up will lead you to Nighthaven. To get to Nighthaven, either take the Wurmsign Oblisk waypoint at Brimstone Sands or head over to Ebonscale Reach and make your way to the shoreline there. Then, swim or walk westwards to find Nighthaven.

    Morgaine Spawn Bug

Sometimes, Morgaine does not spawn for several players, making it impossible to start the new Nighthaven questline. Due to the large influx of players, causing server issues, the NPC does not spawn right away. This bug is likely to persist until a patch is developed for it. Since there have been quite a few players who have complained about this, hopefully the wait will not be too long.

While waiting for a patch, ensure you have finished all main story quests and reached level 70, since Morgaine’s quest unlocks at level 65. If Morgaine does not appear, try restarting the game or returning later.
