RoadCraft lets you take over building efficient transportation systems to help rebuild civilization. There are tons of quests that will take you through the features offered in the game, but one of the main components of RoadCraft is building efficient roads. Building roads will require collecting sufficient sand, which can be a bit hard to come by in early game. This guide will cover how to locate and use sand quarries to collect sand in RoadCraft.
How to Use the Sand Quarry in RoadCraft

Sand quarries can be found in most locations in the overworld, and you can use your in-game menu’s interface to locate them. During the early stages of the game, you will learn how to create roads to help with connectivity. The first thing that you need to do after clearing the intended road from debris is to line it up with sand. For that, you need to locate Sand Quarries and use the Dump Truck to collect sand
Open up the menu and check out the left side section of the screen. At the very top, you will notice different options that only have symbols on them. Select the symbol that looks like two mountains, and your screen will switch to showing all available sand quarries within your vicinity. You will notice large yellow circular markings appear on your map, and these markings are where you need to go and collect sand from the quarries.
How to Fill Up Sand

Next, bring in your dump truck to start collecting sand. Dump trucks can travel over most terrains, so you don’t need a proper road unless the road is filled with blockages and debris. Debris can be moved using a bulldozer, so run that vehicle around to make a clear path. Plan a simple route towards the sand quarry and keep driving till you get close to the marked area.
To start filling up the truck with sand, keep an eye on the left bottom corner of the screen. You will find a Refill Sand option that won’t be highlighted just yet. As you get close enough to the quarry, this option will be highlighted, and you can press the respective button to load up sand on your truck. You are now ready to transport it to the required location, and you can always come back here to refill sand as many times as needed.
