How to obtain Dragonfly Armor in Ghost of Yotei
You must get to Cairn Forks, northeast of Shizunai Woods in the Tokachi Range region.
- Here, next to the river, you will find a Settler arguing with Daijiro about claiming a bounty. After settling the argument between them, Daijiro will run off with his horse.
- Meet Daijiro at Huranui’s Rest Inn, east of Ohara Plains, west of Moiwa Grotto, located in the middle of the Tokachi Range. You will find Daijiro outside the inn, next to a couple of barrels. After a brief conversation, follow Daijiro to start a Zeni Hajiki Minigame.
Note: It doesn’t matter if you win or lose in the Zeni Hajiki Minigame; you will get the Dragonfly armor in both cases at the end of the quest.
- After the game, Zeni Hajiki, whether you win or lose, Daijiro will jump out of the window of the inn, but only to be ambushed by some bounty hunters. Kill the bounty hunters, but Daijiro will be taken to the Nupur River Campsite located near the Horosaru Falls, west of Boar’s Eye Cave in the Tokachi Range.
- Head to the camp, take care of all the enemies in the region, and rescue Daijiro. Atsu will use Daijiro as bait to attract the outlaws. Start the fire near the camp and then head up the cliff to hide from the upcoming enemy forces.
- Once the outlaws show up, wait for Daijiro’s signal. The second he mentions “Maple Tree“, you can start the combat. After finishing off the outlaws, make your way to Huranui’s Rest Inn to meet with Daijiro again. You will get a short cutscene, after which the quest will be complete.
The Dragonfly armor also has a cosmetic upgrade; upgrading it will drastically change the appearance of the armor. The highest level upgrade for the Dragonfly armor is capped at 4.
Upgrade Details of Dragonfly Armor
Here are all the level-up details and material requirements for each level of the Dragonfly armor set in Ghost of Yotei. When you get the armor set, it will be in Level 1; further levels require coins and materials.
- Level 2 Upgrade Effect: A full-drawn bow creates a blue light on the tip. Firing the arrow increases the damage and range of the shot. This shot is called the Empowered Arrow shot.
- Upgrade Cost: 650 Coins.
- Level 3 Upgrade Effect: Firing an empowered arrow now helps you gain a good amount of Concentration.
- Upgrade Cost: 1100 Coin, x10 Textiles, x50 Young Bamboo.
- Level 2 Upgrade Effect: Increases arrow reload speed.
- Upgrade Cost: 2000 Coins, x20 Textiles, x10 Rare Metals.
